If this was "ordinary" people, they'd be on one of those Channel 4 shows, my partner is old enough to be my granddad, and everyone would be cringing but because it's "superstar" Mick Jagger, all his fans and fawners are probably patting him on the back.

What a totally selfish git. Almost certainly condemning his son / daughter to the emotional trauma of losing their father whilst still a child. Idiot.

If he carries on having more kids he'll be too old to lift them up.

The poster means that Jagger could reach that age also and still be around for his son.
Well, technically, yes, I suppose. But even if Jagger does make 100, his son will be 27. What sort of relationship will they have? How salient/lucid will Jagger be? If he was a woman, he'd be crucified and called a 4x4 or however many kids he has by different partners. It's very icky IMVHO. |

Ah Right! That's ok then - which is probably how Mick Jagger viewed things. Complete nonsense of course!

That's life. Who's to say a younger father or mother won't die much younger. Look at poor Louis Tomlinsons mum.
I find it gross - and more so because I think it's all about Jagger being on a big virility trip to show the world how he can still spread his seed around. Yuk. |

It's a fact that the older you are the more likely you are to die. Of course anyone can die at any age but the risks increase as you age. That's not supposition - that is fact. Jagger is a selfish arse IMHO. |

There are always tragedies when people die unexpectedly before their time . This isn't such a case. Jagger has chosen to have a child knowing that the child will spend a huge part of it's life without a father.

He wasn't around much for his oldest kids so it's not going to be much different.
How do you know? |

Just because something doesn't fit into your narrow minded point of view doesn't make it nonsense.

When I saw the first few words of the 'Breaking News' banner on Sky News last night, 'Rolling Stones singer Sir Mick Jagger has......' I honestly thought it was going to say he'd passed away.
As a huge Stones fan, however, my relief was very short-lived as I continued reading and felt a mixture of revulsion and sympathy for that poor child, who will have to deal with the trauma of losing his father at a very young age. |

At best I suppose the kid will be 37 when he's 110.

I wouldn't have liked to have a 91-year old father when I reached 18.
