I had arranged with a popular courier service to send a parcel to a friend in America, in time for Christmas.

I paid with a debit card, and was told the collection would be made on December 7th. Again I waited in all day for the courier to collect the parcel - BUT you're way ahead of me.

Yes, he did not turn up. That was me waiting from 7am to 10pm.

I contacted the courier and they said the problem was an enthusiastic employee had logged a collection had been made, BEFORE it had been collected, thus meaning no collection was made from my house.

You seem to be unlucky then, it happens, I don't remember any other threads you've made, but what advice are you looking for?

Either that or there are a load of incompetent companies about. Or, it's Christmas.


He came at 5.30pm on the 8th, but by then I had chosen another courier. I got a full refund from the other one.
