I was half expecting you to say they all ended up having the Samaritans on speed dial.

He'll be taken back to labour HQ for re-programming after.

Yes. But would we have won World War II without the Americans entering the war

I have never heard of the labour MP. He was right about Boris and it all being about Boris. This was a lot less firey than I was expecting and to mymund the Tory came out of it best. It just reinforced my strong dislike of the terrible chick lit author. Quite how anyone voted for her as a MP puzzles me.

I think it's a relatively new thing that those on the centre right are viewed by some on the left as morally deficient.

I bet national treasure Mary Berry is a conservative voter.

Probably but it would have been harder and lasted a lot longer. But, it was the British who cracked the Enigma code! (Not the Americans as portrayed in their movies!).

Seems that clown Self wanted to goad Farage at every opportunity , shame he's not smart enough to actually do it!

Indeed. As is Carol Vorderman and Joan Collins!

No, we would have lost. Equally the Russians did more than the Americans.

I do wonder how we'd get on if we went to war these days. Presumably the immigrants would go and fight the battles that lazy Brits can't be arsed to fight, while 48% of the population sit at home whining about how it might affect their bank balance.

I predicted it on the other question time thread, he didn't disappoint. There were quite a few Farage baiters in the audience as well.

Farage hates the EU and didn't like the idea of another country wanting to join it. That's why he keeps going on about 'being Putin's friend'

If we hadn't held out in 1940'there would have been nothing left for America to do; in effect we won the crucial battle then when the German invasion was abandoned and the rest was leading up to eventual counter attack, which was what we needed the Americans' numbers to achieve (when they eventually joined in). It was totally in their own interest to do so. Disrespect what this country did if you like but don't expect everyone to agree with you.

It's a "fact" that we would have lost then?
