EU prosperity?? Whats the youth unemployment levels in Greece Portugal and Spain?
Sneaking ever closer to about the same percentage figures of June's referendum I'd imagine

He mentioned the EU, Ukraine and Putin twice tonight and explained why we should stay on friendly terms with Putin.
He said we shouldn't have provoked them, nothing about "being their friends" stop making stuff up.

This Labour MP will be forgotten when this show finishes.
He was crap. He Just threw out a few sound bites to appease the specially selected liberal audience. Labour is seriously going to have to up their game if they don't want to lose votes to UKIP and the Tories who both made valuable points tonight.

Following this about 10 mins behind and just heard DD say it was the last before Christmas.
Why, it's the same over any holiday, QT always takes excessive breaks, in the summer it disappears completely.
This Week has much better staying power.

If we hadn't held out in 1940'there would have been nothing left for America to do; in effect we won the crucial battle then when the German invasion was abandoned and the rest was leading up to eventual counter attack, which was what we needed the Americans' numbers to achieve (when they eventually joined in). It was totally in their own interest to do so. Disrespect what this country did if you like but don't expect everyone to agree with you.
I'd also add that Commonwealth volunteers from across the world were heavily involved in the 2nd World War long before the US joined in. South Africa alone, for instance, provided more than 300,000 volunteers on top of their regular forces and they saw service in Europe, not just N Africa. Many served in the RAF and more than a third of the SA volunteers were black or of Asian heritage.

No, we would have lost. Equally the Russians did more than the Americans.
Once they changed sides. The Russians sided with Hitler initially.

Won't there be a court judgement to determine whether you are capable of making that decision?

He is like the Angels from Dr Who. As soon you as you don't see him you forget he ever existed.
That could explain a lot! I've never seen or heard of that Labour MP before. Or maybe I have...

It averages at around 50%. Not to mention the low economy rate.

And some think the EU is the best thing since sliced bread.

Yes but some of us wanted the cat to stay in the garden. And we even want cats from next too to come into our house.

You have a problem maintaining the dialectic don't you?
Go back and try and work out the fact I mentioned in my reply to your previous post to me.
There's a good fellow, run along now.
Your hatred of Britain fogs you history.

Keep banging on about "the empire"

The bbc is still trying to put on a brave face about the collapsing EU. They really have their heads in the sand. Time to listen to Brillo and face the reality.

Yes. This is going to cause a problem. The cat could lose lots of its rights by being taken out of the house against its will. After all, in some areas, cats voted overwhelmingly to stay in!

I do wonder how we'd get on if we went to war these days. Presumably the immigrants would go and fight the battles that lazy Brits can't be arsed to fight, while 48% of the population sit at home whining about how it might affect their bank balance.
I voted remain. I'm also mid 40's, Thus I am pretty unfit. I could stay home and provide Mental Health care for those who come back

I take it you don't care about the Ghurkas, the 5th Indian (the regiment my great uncle was medic for at El Aleimain and Cassino). My Uncle did all this. His Batman was a Muslim He and the rest of the regimanr thought he was great. The Hindus hated him and tried to do him in, don't you go and fight for your country? Join up.

Yes and they had a lot to fear from the Nazis gaining power.
