Not really. Plenty of people seem happy to speculate that Trump will somehow contrive to start WW3 with Russia; therefore Britain would inevitably be involved in such a conflict.

In which case, which section of the population would be most likely to stand up and volunteer to defend this country? Serious question.

I love Pete's music, but that was the most awkward thing I've seen TV for some time. What were they thinking inviting him on the show?

The radio version of Question Time is excellent right now.
Every line into Five Live is jammed solid with "hundreds of phone calls" wanting to talk about the surge of Poundshop Racists on our streets since Brexit. (And before Brexit).

Stephen Nolan is shocked. I guess there are more thick racists in the UK than he had realised.

I don't know where people get that from. It would have been Hillary Clinton, not Trump, who would have kept on provoking Russia after Obama. She is the warmonger.

From what I have read, the BBC encourages this type of behaviour - cocaine for staff at their desks.

In Stephen Nolan's world everyone is a racist. What's a Poundshop racist?

A pathetic excuse for humanity who tells a Black Person to "go home" shortly after a Referendum on our membership of the European Union.
(AKA thick racist)

Nolan is saying he is shocked at the reports from callers so I am struggling to make sense of your comment.

It's all wine and roses until Vlad says Niet. Then Trumpy boy goes off in the huff.
Vlad then makes a deal that is good for Russia, complements Trump.
Trump is flatterred. Vlad laughs.
Still he's better than LePen, Wilders, Robinson; Farage, Nuttal etc.

I can't agree MC.

President Putin has tried over the years to extend his hand of friendship to President Obama. All to no avail, of course. Putin gets the cold hard stare treatment from Obama in its place. It's such a shame.

What a deathly silence for the postnatal distress topic as Dimbledy wanted to skip right past that. Shocking!

Not a care or word except the certain mothers who went through it in the audience.

That was incredibly uncomfortable wasn't it? I don't think I've ever seen such a complete lack of response on QT before - a serious ***tumbleweed*** moment. Shocking really as it is a serious subject.

I don't remember rich people leaving the country when income tax was 60% under Thatcher.

How can a career MP with a middle class background and education and who's done nothing and knows nothing but backbench politics for over 30 years be anything but establishment?

You know how we were talking about Russia last night? Well, I can't think of anywhere else to highlight this article:

Putin on the style: Russian leader's soldiers of tomorrow take to the floor with their partners at the International Kremlin Ball
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...adet-Ball.html

How absolutely stunning are the photos in this link? It looks like something out of a nineteenth-century Russian novel.

Those uniforms the chaps are wearing are gorgeous, as are the chaps themselves. And just look at the girls in their beautiful ball gowns.

Edit.

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/...1233549328.jpg

And this photo looks like it has come straight out of a Jane Austen novel. Hmmm. Sense and Sensibility perhaps?

Fabulous!
