Poll up soon.

No multiple choice this week due to there being traditionally five in the interviews.

Grainne wasn't great, particularly with the phone calls. However, for me Trishna's negativity was just awful and she didn't contribute much but still complained once things had happened. So, for me Trishna should have gone.

Absolutely Trishna. Absolutely atrocious this week.

Where as Grainne was bad for sure, I'd imagine putting myself in on that team and finding her easier to work with than Trishna and her awful attitude.

Definitely Grainne. I don't know how she's managed to evade it again. An incompetent snake.

Trishna's "negativity" was way overblown.

I am truly horrified by the ignorance of all of them. Every candidate needs firing, not just one from the losing team. Don't know how a winner will be chosen.

Alana is competent, deserves to win.

The rest of them don't even have "competent" going for them, except for maybe Frances, but Sugar really seems hung up on her Win/Loss ratio.

They are all terrible.

Maybe Karren & Claude should get a 'wildcard pick' for the final.

If was between Grianne and Trishna once they got pissed and ignored the calls. I would have sacked Grianne myself.

But let's be honest it should have been Courtney even though they won as he was completely useless and just plain toe-curlingly embarrassing through the pitches. It would have made a fine change.

Glad to hear someone else agreeing, I cringed at his efforts, again, tonight. I really feel he's got this far simply by hanging onto others' coattails. Hope the bighead gets his comeuppance next week.

Although I'm not a huge Frances fan, I'm fed up of Lordalan continually banging on about her being on the losing side so often. The fact that she's lost 8 out of 10 or whatever it is, and yet is still there, should surely count for something - she's only been in the boardroom once which suggests she wasn't seen as hugely responsible for those losses. Actually, I think she has performed rather better than she's given credit for.

She won't win though

Being hesitant and stumbling over his words isn't worthy of a firing in my opinion. I actually liked his response to Claude/LS in the boardroom, about it not being his strong point (which he showed in the previous task, telling his PM Jessica should present instead of him) - it did make a fine change, showing some degree of self-awareness that most other contestants rarely exhibit.

Besides, Trishna rifling through bags and boxes, dropping glasses etc. whilst Frances was talking is in itself more fire-worthy than being nervous in a pitch.

I think she seems very capable but maybe just a bit too young.

Grainne was astoundingly bad (she should have gone Liberty week when she refused to listen to the repeated advice to put someone in the window), but Trishna struck me as a snake in the grass from week one. She has always been far too quick to criticise other members of her team in the boardroom to big herself up/ excuse herself and I thought she would do anything necessary to get through each week. Not the sort of person you want to work with.

She set Frances up for that phone call, then tried to backtrack when Frances passed it back to her - and Karen was quick to remind her that that was what had really happened too!

it's a shame, because Trishna was getting such a good edit, but all that seemed to completely change in this episode. it was odd.

As it was only possible to vote for one person this week I voted for Grainne but would have voted for Trishna as well if I could as they were both completely unprofessional with getting drunk on the task and leaving the phone in another room but I thought Grainne was the main culprit in the drinking session. If this had not been the final task before the interviews where they need to have five candidates left I think they would have both been fired.

I think it was harsh to fire Trishna based on her being responsible for the colour. All she did was suggest it and Grainne was happy to agree. It's not like Trishna was trying to force it through at all costs - it was Grainne's call to make, as PM.

The getting drunk and going around with a face like thunder on the second day wasn't good, though.

To be honest, apart from it being orange that was chosen, and food colour not natural, I struggled to understand why the gin being orange was such a big deal.

I drink home-flavoured gin all the time which is coloured from the fruit, and I seriously doubt your average consumer is going to subscribe to a 'no colour' rule as much as the experts were.

Definitely Grainne, she had no direction to offer for the branding at all and then didn't even speak to Frances at all when she was creating the product to discuss ingredients etc. She didn't deliver strong pitches either but having said that, the other team's pitches were worse. I think Grainne has had two pretty bad weeks and was lucky to get off the hook as losing as the PM for the second time.

Grainne.

Getting drunk on the job is a big no-no for me, and although she wasn't alone on this, the fact that this is her second loss as a PM (and she has shown herself to be quite useless in the last few tasks) I definitely would have given her the boot over Trishna.

Definitely Grainne.

I liked her up until the Virtual Reality Game task where she was atrocious in the pitch, Then, having been handed the chance to redeem herself last night as PM, not only did she act totally irresponsibly by "getting pissed in the brewery" (as Karen put it) thereby leaving the phone "in another room". She was hopeless again in the 2nd pitch to Tescos, proven by the fact that the only pitch she didn't participate in generated sales for the team .
Along with Courtney (who has got even luckier), she has totally and frankly, undeservedly, cruised into the Final Five,

it's a shame, because Trishna was getting such a good edit, but all that seemed to completely change in this episode. it was odd.
Clearly designed to throw all of us off balance - and it worked, at least, as far as I am concerned!

Agreed. It's the PM who makes the decision, so it's unfair to hold a suggestion against the person who makes it.

Trishna wasn't good in this task, but Grainne was worse. As PM surely she should have been more accountable than Trishna?
