Alana's plan is probably to open a cake shop and expand her range. When LS praised her for starting her own business age 16, I was expecting more than mailorder cakes called browmies and flapjacks - nothing original there and something we could all do.

I don:t even remember the name of the guy who won last year. He had zero charisma and just wanted to expand his plumbing business. LS was impressed that he'd read his book. Mark who won in 2014 had the least memorable business idea ever....some weird internet thimg.

I think too (apart from the business plan) it's how willing someone is prepared to graft and learn. The bloke who won last year seemed to morph through the series...took the ridicule of his appearance with humour also.

IIRC There was a female who had been creating(?) and selling beauty products from her home and on a market stall. She didn't win the series but Sugar invested in her company. She wasn't particularly intelligent ("Do the French like kids?" wtte) but she got some finance from him.

The over inflated egos have their bubble burst in the end.

Without doubt the weakest final five in the history of the Apprentice.

Would be really good if he decided no-one is up to it and withdrew the investment.

Might force them to do some proper assessment of candidates in the future.

I wonder if the bit in the preview about Claude denouncing something as 'amateur' was directed at Jessica's Prodigal Fox website and its numerous grammar and spelling errors.

Another preview shows the older lady interviewer with the bad plastic surgery having a go at her well

What do we already know about the Final Five's businesses and business plans?

Jessica owns https://www.prodigalfox.com/, an online fashion store with several different ranges and two lines she's worked on with celebrities ( I use that term loosely)

Alana owns https://www.narnascakes.co.uk/, a tiny cake business offering six different types of cake for sale to the public and to wholesalers.

Courtney owns http://www.bubblegumstuff.com/shop an online shop selling over a hundred novelty items.

Grainne's website is http://grainnemccoy.com/. She's a make up artist who travels around doing demonstrations.

Frances runs two shops selling children's clothes, called Little Puds, but when I clicked on her website, this came up:http://www.thepudstore.com/maintenance.php

So, what do we think? Which business will be most attractive to Lord Sugar?
Frances or Alana, although from what you say re Frances' business, that she needs LS, but does he need her I wonder! Alana's cake biz sounds more promising, unless LS is fed up of bakery items

I'd say Grainnes or Frances would be the easiest as the least level of stock and LS aint into the warehouse sort of thing too much as while its sitting there its losing money.

He's never been interested in food as its short date and most supermarkets have a sale or return sort of deal so wouldn't be of much interest to him.

The main thing is he wants the maximum return for the least hassle so Kids clothes and slapping slap on people are probably the easiest options left as women love their makeup and they also generally have kids and they need to be clothed and given they grow up so fast you can be flogging a new set of clothes every few months if you can get the loyalty.

But there are so many clothes shops, that the market's flooding. The Novelty idea might not be so bad, but it depends on what sort of novelties. I bought a cute mini shopping trolley couple of days ago, which was something I'd never seen before, and would buy another one

Mind you, i'm not that keen on most of the Candidates, and wouldn't buy anything from them, but if Alana had some nifty cakes then I might

Come to think of it, LS might find a Demonstrator useful.

I'd never have known had we not had a TV Guide, as I was looking at the channels and spotted it, and then kept mind firmly on it.
