Out of interest, can people on the IOM get any DAB broadcasts from the UK or Irish mainland I wonder? I'm guessing some probably can, depending on where and how high up they are on the island?

It was also part of a one year test with o2 to try integrating 3g data apps and DAB but sets in 2002 would have been expensive.
When the BBC mux came in 2007 sets were cheaper and according to Radiotoday sold well on the Island. The BBC added more DAB sites on the Island in 2013.
Guess if the go ahead for a new mux and closing 1368 has been given, the ad for a local mux operator will be published in 2017?
Hopefully Carolinre North will get onto more DAB muxes in England
