My site poll is asking who people want to win this week. If votes there transfer into BBC votes this week then we are looking at the following scenario

Name/Judges/Public/Total

Ore 4+1 = 5
Danny 3+4 = 7
Louise 2+2 = 4
Claudia 2+3 = 5

Which because of Claudia's better public vote would make the dance off Louise vs Ore

Except James Jordan, who is admittedly many things... but a professional dancer is one of them.

The Ballroom and Latin Dancer thread also pointed out many, admittedly, relatively minor issues with his Quickstep.

I believe it's their choice, although it hasn't always been the case - before 2013 they automatically did the highest-scoring dance.


All the phone lines go through one central line, so if the line for one celeb is engaged then all of them are. It's not representative of that celeb getting more votes.

It's one line for all celebrities not separate lines. If you are voting from a land line it has to go through the 'local' exchange before it hits Strictly and then the last two numbers split the vote. So the blockage could be at your local exchange. Are XF lines open?

Even if Ore gets 2 with Public, I think Danny will get at least 3 so Danny would beat him as he has better public score.

My bet is Ore and Louise bottom 2

I think that could be the DO tonight. And if Ore does his AT again I can't see them saving Louise!!

If my poll is right then there's a certain irony. I've had a lot of comments on my site and Facebook/Twitter saying that the judges overmarked Ore to try and engineer him into the final but it's the tie at the bottom of the leaderboard between Louise and Claudia that has doomed him.

All this is assuming my poll reflects the viewer vote which despite my large sample size it may well not accurately do

Yeah if there is a tie after combining judges and public scores then the public vote takes precedence which is why in the scenario I posted Ore would be in the dance off despite being on tied scores with Claudia

Yes so say if Ore got 2 from the public and Danny got 3, Danny would go through as they are both on 6 but Danny had more public support

If we take the 'who did you vote for?' thread on here it would be Danny v Louise.

Although DS tends underestimate Louise's popularity.

I think it's pretty clear it's going to be Louise V Ore or Danny. Realistically she should be voted out in either situation.

With regard to the DO, everyone except Louise had a higher score for their second dance..... so would Louise have to change back to do her Tango again ? or would she stay with Samba, even though it was her lower score ?

Good evening everyone. I think tonight's result is too close to call, so I'm not making any predictions. Whilst we wait, I'll starting pouring some sweet potato moonshine.
