My personal opinion is Strictly is very tightly managed - the judge's are guided by the producers on which storyline's they'd like to take root and which to let go of and comment/mark accordingly.
Maybe I'm becoming weary of reality television and am judging Strictly on the basis of the rest of it but that's my opinion. Louise and Kevin were joint bottom fairly but, at the same time, it looks like their vote was strong enough to see them through. Whether Ore's vote has picked up in recent weeks is questionable - maybe it has - but to me his position on the leaderboard suggests they were trying to protect him (very much like Danny recently); it's possible his vote may have caught them out slightly. It's possible they placed Danny in danger because they knew his public vote was low but they could bounce him into the final; bouncing Ore through against any of them would have been a challenge if they'd placed him in a dangerous position.
As I said, maybe I've become wearily cynical but I think Strictly is far more stage managed than many think.
