Perhaps some Bremain posters have been visiting old folks homes.

Thanks to you, the OP and other misery masters on here wishing us old ones well. When you go to cross the road, make sure you can reach the other side before a car reaches you.

Aye, that would class as mass suicide.

So what...........lol.

As many times as you have the breath to say it.

Did you vote Conservative in the 2015 general election?
If you did you voted for having the referendum and for adhering to the result.
So were willing to have the UK leave the EU.

You just be careful your not hit on the rebound, it could kill of your remaining brain cells.

Maybe everyone who voted for brexit should wear some sort of badge to indentify themselves - a yellow star would seem to be the most appropriate.”

Perhaps a tattoo, eh?

fag packet maths

ONS weekly death statistics appears to run at about 10,000 per week for over 65's for the first six weeks, so i'll just use that, we're only looking at the 6 months since the vote which gives us 260,000 and 25% of over 65s dont vote in general elections so lets use that too, which gives us 195,000. The breakdown of the vote for over 65s was roughly 40%/60% remain/leave.

So we have a total of 78,000 remain voters and 117,000 leave voters dead.

Is it a normal thing after losing a vote to be so frustrated that you want to know exactly how many of the people voted for the result have died?

Churchill did actually change parties and change back so he quite possibly did say it.

The figure is in the article posted by the OP, if you want to look.

They didn't say that, they said most leave voters were older. How you go from that to "no old voters were remainers" makes one person look stupid and it wasn't the person you quoted.

(Hint, its you)

Would those be the "mentally sound" "highly educated" young people who didn't realise that in order to win a vote you actually have to get off your arse and cast a vote?

Turn-out was lowest amongst the younger voters, showing that a great deal of young people didn't care either way.

Which suggests to me that re-running the vote would not in fact have it going 52-48 the other way, which means that the OP is quoting an 'article' (indy100, seriously) that is in fact a heap of total utter bollocks.

And obviously add in the 'ha ha old people died' thing we do get to the question of how we balance out who is more deserving of a place in civilised society.

Well I have a plan. Let's rejig the figures without both the 10% oldest (or dead) voters and 10% youngest.
Since some of the Re-On-and On-and On - and On Moaners think old people shouldn't be allowed to vote, lets also say you have to have at least 10 years adult life within the EU.

Now this leaves it to the top end of Generation X and the younger and mid-age Boomers... who happen to be overwhemingly in favour of Brexit and hugely outnumber Generation Crying.

Most of the young and healthy didn't care - as in they didn't vote.
