Train services to and from Gatwick - are they running or not?
I have visitors coming for Christmas. Had planned to meet them at Gatwick, taking the train as it's so much more relaxing than driving round the M25, and then coming home with them on the train and tube.
But the Gatwick Express web site says to expect severe disruption due to industrial action. It's not like I can do a dummy run to test whether the service is running or not, so does anyone know the situation? Are the trains running anything like normal or is it a complete fiasco? |

Thameslink and Great Western are running. GatEx and Southern are not. Therefore the ones that are running are likely to be very crowded.
