Why must they always refer to her as 'pregnant Cheryl'? I wonder if Louis will move back to the UK now to spend more time with his family? He's estranged from his biological father so really he's lost both of them now, at such a young age. It's his 25 th birthday on Christmas Eve.

Louis is going ahead with his first solo performance on the XF tomorrow. The song is about his mum.
I bet he is in bits.

I am not a fan of 1D or X Factor but feel for the guy.

I have the utmost respect for Louis Tomlinson if he goes ahead with his performance as a tribute to his mother. I hope he has strong people around him right now, for emotional support. He has his girlfriend Danielle, and the mother of his little boy, Briana, and his stepdad Mark. My heart goes out to him. 24 is too young to lose your mum.

This poor woman, how terrible. Same age as me but with 7 kids. I just went on the DM to look at the comments people have gone on about, but noticed they have now changed the article to stuff Cheryl Fernandez Whateveritis into it. It's not about her!!!
I just read it, so sadly, RIP. but why Daily Mail make it about Cheryl's message in their headline?
"Pregnant Cheryl and boyfriend Liam Payne lead the tributes" - I would have thought that would have been Jo's husband, if anyone, wouldn't you???
Can you not just put your Cheryl dislike aside and ignore what the ignorant DM does? Or at least take it to another thread? What the DM does has no relevance here and you bringing it into this thread makes you just as disrespectful and lacking in grace and care as the DM.

This has really upset me. 42 is no age AT ALL and it hurts to think of those kids now growing up without a mum. Tragic.

Not to mention little Freddie (and any other grandkids) growing up without a gran. It's a tragic situation for all involved. It's never a good time to die but there seems to be more sadness when it happens at Christmas. My granddad died on 12th Dec years and years ago now and I was very young and my mum who was grieving tried to keep it as normal as possible for me and my 2 older siblings but it was a hard Christmas that year. Those young children having to grow up without their precious mum is awful and Louis is a braver person than me if he does indeed perform at x factor tomorrow. I couodnt do it thats for certain. Kudos to him if he manages it.

And? This is news how exactly?

People every day die too young, sadly. Leave him in peace.

No it's not news exactly but this is a showbiz forum so of course it will be discussed.

I don't see how FMs are harassing Louis Tomlinson he won't even know this thread exists.
All I see are people expressing their sympathy about a Mum passing at such a young age.

I was reading this yesterday on the BBC News website and I was really shocked when I saw the article heading. 43 is so young these days, and I felt really gutted for Louis reading the article.

R.I.P. Johannah Deakin. Thoughts go out to Louis and all his family and friends.

I'm really glad the family were able to keep Johanna's illness private. I hope the batshit crazies continue to be respectful and dignified, and not cause Louis and his siblings any further distress.

RIP

No distress is greater than losing their mother to this monstrous disease. Stupid trolls and their stupid theories are nothing compared what they have suffered and are suffering.

You have been extra crass and nasty in the GD forum, but how about having some respect already?

Condolences to the Tomlinson family. This is very sad news.

I do not see why this is headline news when there is so much worse going on in the world out there.

Obviously no one wants to loose a mother at such a young age but i don't get why everyone is in such wild hysteria unless you knew her personally?

I see he is performing his new single on X factor tonight, bit soon he should be grieving alone not on stage singing

Jay wanted him to go ahead and perform. It'll take strength not many of us would have but good for him to be able to pay tribute to his mum.

Who are you to decide the 'right' way to grieve? people deal with things in different ways and, if this is how he wants to pay tribute to his mum, then its the right thing for him to do.

Regardless of anything else, this was a relatively young woman who has children who have lost a parent and should have had their mum for another 30 or 40 years. That's what resonates with people and I'm sure many of us have known friends or family leave us before their time due to this hideous disease.

I'm not seeing any wild hysteria, just people empathizing and showing sympathy - not bad things to express are they?

There was wild hysteria firstly from op repeating the word sad I. The tile then extreme outpourings of sad smiles with rip.
Front page news articles on all papers and celebrity's tweeting non stop anyone would think the queen had died.

Bless him/her. Obviously thought they were in the 'very important stuff' bit.

RIP Johanna.

A few reasons why.

Cheryl has them on her payroll or has some sort of deal going where they mention her in so many articles (even ones that are not about her like this one, but always end up being about her in the end.)

Or they use her name as click bait, her articles always get high views, shares and comments. (even though she has a personality of a dish cloth and the talent to match)

she deliberately wades in by posting stuff on her twitter/instagram etc.. knowing the press will report it.

keeps her in the press, now her career is declining.

keeps the daily mail getting their 'hits' on stories.

win win.

Really sad to hear about louis mum though.

Hope she has found peace and her family can too.

Those poor kids.

I'm no fan of Cheryl, but your continuous hatred and vitriol coupled with your frankly outlandish theories about her pregnancy etc are actually making me sympathise with her. Do you realise that you sound unhinged?

Yep Pru. Showbiz on DS has taken a strange turn in the last few months. This was always a place to have a laugh and take the p*ss but a couple of obsessive FMs have made this a place that I don't want to visit these days.

Couldn't agreed more - there's certain people round here recently who I could almost believe are being paid to get certain key words into all their posts - no matter the subject...

Totally agree and I know the word you mean

Who'd have thought we'd actually miss Pwicey and Andre acting like tw*ts to bring the humour back to this place?
