Here are some quotes from former BBC editors on the blatant left-wing bias, most demonstrable in the laughable Question Time audiences:

Two anti BBC threads in one afternoon? A slow day in the RT news room?

This thread was made in response to the pro-BBC minions in my other thread.

I'm curious to know whether people genuinely believe the BBC to be unbiased or if they just stay silent because it's biased the way they want it to be.

Do you believe RT news is unbiased ? RT, originally Russia Today, is a television network funded by the Russian government.

Please explain how an organisation that is disproportionately represented by minorities and special interest groups and seeks to censor any dissent against them is unbiased.

Please explain how any political discussion aired by the BBC requires an approximately 80/20 audience ratio in favour of left-wing opinions is unbiased.

Please explain how an organisation that refuses to be put under the scrutiny of OFCOM unlike it's competitors is unbiased.

I could go on and give you every quote on the list I provided but to save space I'll simply redirect you to the link I provided in the OP.

There is mountainous evidence to suggest the BBC is heavily biased, why are you either ignoring this evidence or refusing to acknowledge it?

I believe RT is a credible alternative source that is inherently more trustworthy due to the fact that A. It does not claim to be unbiased and B. Is under the scrutiny of OFCOM.

BBC on the other hand shuts down criticism and denies free speech.

I find it harder to trust an organisation that is unable to even acknowledge opposing opinions.

It's very difficult to explain things you have made up. However, it does help prove my bias statement regarding you. Thanks.

Astounding. Truly astounding.

Have you ever watched a single episode of Question Time? Are you seriously suggesting they have a representative audience?

Are you suggesting Andrew Marr is lying about the disproportionate number of minorities employed by the BBC?

If so, where is your evidence?

I don't think anyone believes the BBC is unbiased, do they? That's half the problem for the BBC.....all the left wingers think it's run by rich, white, Oxbridge/Harrow/Eton alumni whilst all the right wingers think it's run by vegan, black, marxist lesbians.
Occam's razor decrees that it's probably got a mixture of people in its management with a profile similar to any largish organisation.
But it's more fun to characterise.

It's a mighty bias hole you have dug to late to stop, however, I don't suppose English adage is taught or easily recognised...

OP has perhaps got a point.
BBC have reminded staff about impartiality recently.

That's ONE producer versus the hundreds of producers who would have you believe every member of Britain First is a babbling, knuckle-dragging, Hitler worshipping racist.

Also it's irrelevant as BBC have never showed any kind of favour towards Britain First, they have been described as a far-right hate group.

It also doesn't change the fact that Question Time audiences are ridiculously biased in favour of left-wing opinions.

BBC is part of our own governments propaganda machine.

You automatically believe their propaganda.

Viewers of RT form their opinions based on both perspectives.

This really.

People need to look-up Confirmation bias, and cognitive dissonance to find out how people can interpret the same situation so differently.

That is not a fact. There is absolutely no evidence for it.

Perhaps you should read a little about the governance of the BBC over 90 years
and
the origins of OFCOM before you ask for such an explanation!

Most of them don't. BBC viewership far outnumbers that of any alternative media outlet. BBC also doesn't have the same stigma surrounded by it hence people will complacently believe everything it tells them.

That suggests most people who view the BBC do not pay any kind of attention to alternative media outlets.

Viewers of Russia Today are naturally more sceptical, that's the target audience - sceptics who want to engage with the news rather than just casually watch it and be done with it. Their format is not "believe everything we say".

It is more "don't believe everything the MSM tells you, here is an alternative viewpoint".

You want me to be to provide evidence of something that doesn't exist

I think you have it the wrong way round

I am aware of the history.

I am asking you to justify it.

Why should the BBC not be under the same scrutiny as other media outlets? "Because history" is not an explanation.

If you want to prove the BBC is unbiased you are going about it the wrong way by simply expecting people to fall in line with popular opinion.

Which "minorities and special interest groups" represent the BBC?
