I dip in and out of Corrie and every episode I've watched recently has had Leanne walking around like she has pooped her pants.
I know she is pregnant but that walk is ridiculous

given she's had a baby herself in real life you would think she would know that someone around 20 weeks pregnant just about has a bump and doesn't walk like John Wayne!
she's due in the month that I was when I had my son 2 years ago and at Christmas I barely had a bump and was only just starting to feel flutters from the baby.
it's utterly ridiculous having a bump to her knees and walking like that

The corrie FB pages are hilarious tonight

What on earth is she or the director thinking
It was like something out of monty python when she left the shop
Legs akimbo, waddling wildly from side to side, stomach thrust forward
So very very odd for someone who has been pregnant in real life

She's walking like she's been having fun on Phelan's love wand.

That's enough to make any woman walk like that.

Well they must be getting her to do it for laughs can't be any other reason.

I didn't watch the ep but I saw a clip on the OK website. It was bizarre to say the least.

I walked like a cowboy with my first from around 5 months because my legs swelled up so much it was incredibly painful to walk.

I have also read that

Spoiler
Leanne gets a blinding headache that causes concern over Christmas - could be a pre-eclampsia storyline maybe?

That's what it turned out was the cause of my problems.

That said, I was close to or in tears whenever I walked anywhere, not tootling around singing Bros hits

It was the most bizarre scene I've seen in a long time, esp as she was walking fine a few scenes earlier!

Occam's Razor dictates that this is the most probable cause.

Is that the reason Anna is having problems walking too and nothing to do with her having her legs BBQ'ed at all.

Both myself and my daughter said ""why is she walking like that. Even given swollen legs or whatever I don't think anyone would walk like that. It was just peculiar

It was absolutely ludicrous. What was the Director thinking.

She's obviously been told to walk like that, as that's supposed to be the way pregnant women walk. However, unfortunately , Leanne has bandy legs anyway, so walking like that makes her look ridiculous.

..she looked like an overloaded jumbo jet trying to get up enough speed to take off

I wonder if she was seen walking like that because she was trying to counterbalance a couple of heavy shopping bags and that was just the way it turned out. I'm sure she doesn't normally waddle along like that, either on the cobbles or in her flat.

She's actually given birth and the baby is still in her knickers because she's so busy getting Christmas with our Toyah sorted out.

Maybe being bandy is a symptom of Leanne's past of being a prostitute.

This is the unacceptable face and result of capitalism.

It was hilarious. The wardrobe people should be sacked for a start; a baby doesn'i hang low until it is ready to emerge; and the walk....what on earth was she thinking of?

That walk was hilarious - all I could picture was the Steptoe and Son theme song playing!

It made me smile, Leanne waddling down the street singing Bros.

I had my second baby last year and brought both pregnancies I didn't waddle until my last two or three weeks - and as its a first baby you generally barely have a bump until 5 months gone (then your abdominal muscles do one and never come back!!). It was ridiculous - and yet our Michelle who we are so lucky to have doesn't seem that pregnant at all?

That's because Michelle is so fabulous and fantastic, even her shit doesn't stink.
