Can't quite get that model number of the TV, as most modern Samsung TV's only output Audio via Optical and your Soundbar does not have that connection. Try connecting via bluetooth.

That's a shame. Looks like you require a DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter).

Looking at the manual, you have been trying to connect to Video inputs on the TV. The Green socket is Component In, the Yellow is AV In, so neither will work. There are no analogue sound outputs, not even a headphone socket.
Since the only audio outpit is TOSLink, (Optical Digital), you could try a optical to analogue converter. Lots available from around £10 to £20 on-line. Most seem to include the optical cable. Connect the TV optical out to the optical input of the converter and the phono outputs of the converter to the soundbar. |

As has been said, you'll need a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) in order to connect your soundbar to your TV. This is the cheapest option but it's another device which needs to be plugged in to power it.
An alternative is to buy another soundbar with a digital optical input, such as this from Richer Sounds for £59. It's the lowest price soundbar from there but I'm sure there will be cheaper options elsewhere. |

If it is brand new and you haven't destroyed the packaging try and do a deal with your supplier to get a better one with an optical input or better still one compatible, via HDMI ARC, with your TV which hopefully your TV volume will then be able to control. Don't waste your money on a DAC unless you can guarantee it won't produce lip sync problems.

That should do the job and it includes an optical cable in the box, so you won't have to pay extra for one of those.
