You don't need to watch RT to know our allies are helping Islamists in Syria.

Give me a good reason we should support these brutal be-headers instead of the Syrian Government and their Russian allies.

So the government has ruled out air drops, but Corbyn is to be criticised for not supporting them either???

No one asked him to. It was Corbyn's cowardly failure to answer direct question and condemn the Russians which was at issue.

I really hope that every time the leader of the opposition makes speech in future it gets interrupted by protesters, because it will mean that our 'impartial' media will report that he was making a speech.
As they have slowly changed tactics since his SECOND massive election victory in 12 months, from ridicule at every opportunity, or miss quoting or quoting him out of context, or just plain lies, and having TV news 'reporters' give an automatic little grin whenever they mention his name, in the same way that they always give a big smile when ever they mention the royals,

Their new tactics seem to be to ignore him, as their old ones clearly didn't work, now they only ever report him when something like this happens.
The media and some politicians are slowly playing catch up and beginning to realise that things are changing, the first and second elections of Corbyn as Labour's leader despite everything they threw at him, the EU referendum result, the election of Trump, is slowly making them realise that their propaganda powers are weakening, that the 'herd' now has many other ways of getting information and to exchange views opinions and the news,
the power of the main-stream media to influence the herd is declining and they need new tactics.

Something he has done at least twice, but if it's not reported then clearly it never happened right?

Here's footage at 3:10 of the White Helmets facilitating an Al Nusra execution.

Turkish media can always be relied on to tell the truth about Syria of course.

It will never be enough for the media until Corbyn becomes a full fledged Cold warrior.

The shadow foreign secretary answered, quite rightly. And Corbyn has condemned bombing on all sides, which includes Russia.

Yeah but it seems that in Annsyre's little world, it never happened or doesn't count when a Labour leader says something.

LALALA I am not listening.

She wasn't asked the question and she was not asked to condemn Russia. Corbyn was.

I'm sure the numbers have been exaggerated as that article suggested, but when they say "did you see massive columns of fleeing civilians"... well, yes actually; it was on the news either last night or the night before; footage of columns of fleeing civilians moving along the streets, taken with a thermal camera on a russian drone.

Well there you go, why did Corbyn not simply point this out, say he would personally meet and discuss it further with Peter and the other protesters after the meeting?

Jeremy had the opportunity to look statesmanlike and instead all we have is him getting tetchy then taking advice from Shami before asking Emily when they had condemned the air strikes. He looked a right numpty.

Nah, Corbyn's just a useless leader. You're in denial.

Agreed. Corbyn can only work to a script he can't do spontaneous and doesn't seem able to commit information to memory.

Corbyn, just like the supposed Stop The War movement, just don't care how many civilians get slaughtered so long as it's the Russians/Soviets doing the indiscriminate killings.

Right, thanks for explaining how am thinking for me,

I think that quite soon I shall just pop onto DS to find out how I feel or what I think about various issues, as it seems that lots and lots of Tory supporters seem to know what I think and how I feel, so much better than I do. (but you probably already knew that)

Soviets??? I must have missed that, you would have thought it would have made the news!!
Could you tell us how you are able to know what Corbyn is thinking? I feel really left out when I read all the comments here by all the mind reading experts, is this something one is born with or can anyone learn how to do it?

While we might agree on many things, this is not one of them. Corbyn has chosen not to condemn Russian atrocities even when they have been condemned by UN agencies or Amnesty International. He has shown bias and partiality in favour of the Russians no matter how barbaric and indiscriminate their actions have been.

Where's Tatchell's condemnation of the 'rebels' prolonged bombardment of West Aleppo, or do our terrorist friends get a free pass?

Except he has condemned them, he condemned ALL bombing of civilians by ALL sides,

the problem for some seems to be that they want him condemn ONLY the Russian bombings and not those of the.... erm.... 'good guys' because in the time honoured tradition of war time propaganda "we" are always the 'good guys' (regardless of who "we" are) and 'they' are always the 'bad guys' (regardless of who 'they' are)

This 'rule' applies equally to all sides in any conflict, and has done since one bunch of people from one cave threw rocks at the people from a neighboring cave,

Corbyn has simply, and quite rightly, pointed out that dropping bombs in areas where it's known there are large numbers of defenseless civilians is wrong ALL the time and not only when it's the Russians doing it,

ask the people of London and Dresden.
