I took this to mean that naked pubes are the norm for young girls these days or rather, it would appear to be what boys expect of their girls before they sleep with them. If it is indeed common practice these days, I wonder if it's something that has evolved from young guys' expectations, based on what they've seen on internet porn sites.

From my own experience in the sixties and seventies, the only girls who 'shaved down there' were those featured in porn pics and flicks. I can honestly say that I never knew a girl who did this, unless it was just as a bit of fun to see what it looked like. Maybe times have changed, but I'll just have to pass on that one!

I think the episode was very representative of young people today. How when you're beginning to become sexually active, it's more about feeling like you have to do it right or make a good first impression etc, but as you grow up those things don't seem to matter as much. Losing your virginity is a scary and exciting thing both at the same time. I also think it was more of a statement about Louise as a character as opposed to Bex, though I do believe Louise's chat is all a facade, hiding quite a sensitive young girl.

As a 19 year old, I found the episode rather cringeworthy and quite unbearable to watch.

As a young person myself I can confirm this whole story-line is extremely common now especially here in London.

God I feel old glad I was a teen in the 80's when all I had to ensure was my legs were shaved

I suppose it didn't seem so bad as opposed to what it might have been

The actress who plays Louise is 19 and looks older than that so it maybe didn't seem so bad with what she said although I can understand people being uncomfortable with this as she is supposed to be a 15 year old schoolgirl.

Both Louise and bex are key prominent characters in the show these days and they seem to be a decent portrayal of modern day teens

They only thing that ever annoys me with these two is Louise is supposed to a year younger than bex but both the actress is both older and seems to be about a foot taller than the actress who plays bex

Are men expected to shave down there too. Only I can see certain dangers in wielding a razor around your prize possession.😨

I remember my sister at 13 or 14 being upset because her friend called her 'disgusting' for not shaving down there. That was about 7/8 years ago.

Ditto, I can;t even imagine doing that ( shaving) it sounds dreadful. People need to accept our bodies as human.

I'm thinking this is heading for Louise and Shakki making Bex jealous.

That's why so many blokes (old and young) seem to think sending a woman a photo of their rancid meat and two veg is the very height of sophistication.

And hasn't there been enough about all this in the media, not to mention the recent Jay situation which Louise and therefore presumably Bex knew all about? It's illegal to send such pictures around the place. There's no such thing as 'Oh, it's only between me and my girlfriend' because it only takes a nosey little toe rag like Louise to pick up Bex's phone where she left it lying around (they all do that, god knows why) and the pics will be all round the school and all over the internet for ever more.

Respect, conversation, humour, kindness, little tokens and romantic surprises used to be the way to a girl's heart - now it's just send them pictures of your c*ck.

And they say romance is dead.

Never did understand why some men like women to look like 10 year old girls down there. I fear for my little daughter, i really do.
