I bloody love the hideous woman. It's refreshing to have a character with zero tact, compassion and caring about very little other than herself and whichever man she has in her sights (ithout being some victim or tart)

I loathe her. She had a child by her sister's husband then abandoned the vulnerable boy; Nessa is beyond contempt.

But she's an interesting character - unlike say Sinead, Kate, Fiz, Luke, Erica,.....

Indeed. There are many worse characters in the show than Nessa. At least she has a personality, it just doesn't happen to be a very nice one.

This is Phelan all over again. People agree he's an obnoxious person, but seem to love him as a character. Hate him personally and hate Nessa too.

I've really enjoyed her return. Obnoxious, brash, annoying.

This character goes on about her success with men, yet she's no english rose. In fact there is nothing attractive about her at all. She's like an older version of the one in the kebab shop. so big headed, but actually has no reason to be.

Sorry, someone had to say it. How she talks about herself, you would expect some vision of a woman to be saying it, but she isn't.

I think that confidence is the key here. She believes it because of some success in the past or because she is so lacking in awareness that if she thinks it, then it must be true.

I think Corrie needs Nessa at the moment - a refreshing change from uber confident younger sexy women or downtrodden older women. I do not like the character in the sense of wanting her as a friend, but I do like her in the show - if nothing else she gets under the skin of the awful Cathy.

I think Nessa and Erica would make a great double act as the street's maneaters, although Erica has become a quieter character since settling down with Dev.

I love Nessa she is great fun. A truly horrible person but thats the point she's meant to be awful. Unlike her even more obnoxious sister Cathy who the writers actually want us to like.

I think sticking her claws into Ken who'd only lost Deirdre a few months earlier really put people off her, but otherwise she's a bit of hot pink neon in a sea of dull, colourless characters.

Agree that Nessa is indeed entertaining with her selfish & obnoxious ways, rubbing people up the wrong way so hope we will see her having run ins with Sally, Gail & Eileen.

As she is getting with Brian that I would love it if Julie comes back and it would be comic gold to see Julie coming to blows with Nessa!

I can't believe you're comparing Nessa to Phelan. You don't see Phelan going out for sex-fueled nights with Ken like Nessa and Liz. He prefers to stay home to comfort Eileen. I'm so hurt by your words I'm speechless.

The way Nessa was so glad she was no longer with Ken when he had his stroke was pretty indecent too, whereas loyal Phelan has stuck by Eileen despite the fact that she's really horrible.
