She has been badly treated by the judges the past few weeks, I hope she sails through to the final.

She has Italian parents and they pronounce au as ow. I know because I have two friends whose daughters are both called Laura but one couple are Italians so they pronounce it as Lowra.

Or were you being 'funny'?
No not funny, nasty.

I do not understand their attitude to Claudia, a 19 year old gymnast who has represented her country and won medals and worked hard to achieve her ambition. Why do they do it, it is so unnecessary. Just be fair.

Ok but why not check before making comments about her supporters.

Have been behind her from the start and will keep hoping for a miracle until we have the result. Glad to see she has so many voting for her. She needs to put her Houdini hat on this week
Occasionally I take a peek at the spoiler thread, but can't do it tonight.
Lets vote for whoever we found entertaining !
This has always been my policy.

Dance is a partnership between a couple sharing a dance , not two separate people dancing and sometimes come together ,

Danny has his west end history, Louise her Eternal days and Ore is a consummate BBC presenter.
Claudia started at zero
She deserves to be in final
Let's vote her through
No thanks, I don't want her in the final.

This. Still think it all boils downtown the touring issue.

I have nothing against Claudia but equally I don't understand the attitude to Ore either.

I see him as a youngish man, who has worked very hard along side a day job (albeit maybe with reduced hours). In that they appear to be equal as Claudia only recommenced her day job in recent weeks.

Neither of them have been schooled in dancing. Both of them have a natural advantage which has enabled them to outrun most of the competition. In Claudia's case its gymnastics. In Ore's a natural sense of rhythm and timing.

Neither come across well in interviews. To me Claudia comes over as vacuous and speaks in cliches. Ore as overly earnest and also speaks in cliches. Both have dance partners I find rather irritating. Both are working hard to do the best they can do.

I see them as eminently equal contestants.

Are you referring to personal chemistry between celeb and pro? If so, I have to question which programme you're watching. Their connection is superb IMO, same goes for Danny and Oti.

I honestly think that Louise doesn't even like Kevin and Claudia and AJ just don't display any charisma at all.

You've said that a few times but I don't see it. Sure there is no overt passion in their dancing but they seem very matey and giggly together, no awkwardness at all. And the one thing I did love about their Samba was when he put his head on her shoulder and they were beaming. They looked very comfortable and happy.

Because it came immediately after Claudia had once again been criticised for not showing enough emotion towards AJ in their dance I watched Ore's and Joanne's Quickstep really closely for evidence of emotional connection. Here's an interesting point. Ore did not look at Joanne at all, not even once, during the entire quickstep dance. Yet no criticism at all about a lack of emotional connection!

Don't believe me, watch here...

Nah not buying that, sorry. I don't think the QS is a 'gaze at each other' sort of dance. As for personal connection, I think you'll agree that Kara and Artem had the grand-daddy of personal connection, and yet they barely looked at each other either.
