I thought Ore was terrific and deserved the marks.

LOVED Claudia's QS as well.

Louise and Danny were both a bit 'meh' for me.

Scores a bit all over the shop, but damned PLEASED Ore is at the top.

Im really miffed as to why Darcy only gave a 9 for that AS. All because of 1 lift that wasnt her taste?

If we take Danny & Ores dances and scrub out Oti and Jo and just watch the men, its clear to see who should be getting higher marks.

Good point.

Everyone who has a favourite thinks the voting isn't correct for their point of view.
My favourite is Danny. However in my opinion Claudia was undermarked for her quickstep so it's not necessarily about favourites when it's bloody obvious.

The leaderboard is ALMOST spot on but there shouldn't be a tie at the bottom.

Ore - Two great dances
Danny - One amazing, one okay
Claudia - One amazing, one lacklustre
Louise - Two lacklustre

So in the grand scheme of things it's fine since Claudia got the same points she would have got and Louise will likely end up in the dance off regardless.

Agree completely Danny should've been top with Claudia second. I hope they both go through. Blatant manipulation tonight.
I absolutely agree with you on both points.

Ore should definitely go - he was stiff and just postured in the AT and Claudia's QS was as good if not better. Danny's Samba was as good if not better than Ore's QS. Craig only one who didn't over mark in my opinion.

Not the worst judging - but really blatant favouritism!!!

Now I love Ore as much as the next big ol' Ore-fan, but he should not have been topping the leader board tonight.

I can see that the judges want to recognise and redress the balance a little for the dancer with the least pre-series advantage, but it doesn't look pretty and it makes them look daft.

They need to trust the public to decide if they want to support No-Dance-Backgrounders or not.

I saw a clear error in the lift she got that one right.
Fair enough but she ought to have stuck to that principle for the others 😎

I don't get that, truly. Ore did a blistering pair of dances, neither perfect but both awesome. And he was EXCITING.

He should have been top. None of the others did both dances terrifically well.

Totally agree, how could Ore's AT be marked higher than Danny's AT and the same as Danny's AS? I just don't get it and I speak as someone who was moved by Ore's Singing in the Rain routine, but he hasn't improved since then.

I did that tonight and Danny wasn't that great to be honest.

Ore was.

I haven't even watched the dances yet just been reading the forums and even from reading them it's clear that most people feel that Claudia wasn't rewarded the way she should have been .

He's inconsistent, but tonight he WAS. I didn't rate Danny's Salsa, and Danny's AS was nice but not perfect.

He wasn't marked too highly, he was rightfully TOP, two extremely good and exciting dances.

Nah, Claudia's QS was bloody GREAT, I loved it. Her Rhumba wasn't that good.

Agree with that, Quickstep was too aggressive and he walked around a bit in the AT.
With that music, it could hardly have been soft & gentle now could it?

However, I agree, both his dances were overmarked tonight while Claudia's QS was ridiculously undermarked.

Having said that, I totally agreed with Craig's 8 for Ore's QS and Darcey's 9 for Danny's AS due to the messy 2nd lift.

So, was it the worst night? I dunno - I'm just confused now!!!

Is that why people thought Danny's salsa was great then? His Tango even?

And I like Claudia's QS but not her Rhumba because what?

You think whatever comforts you.

And danced it like a ballroom tango complete with a, oopen mouthed snarl and OTT staccato moves. She missed the point entirely.

Ore kind of 'stood around'.
I'm feeling proud that this is also how I saw their AT, as you seem to be one of the DS AT experts and I know nothing about it.

Some of you need to make your minds up. At various times you have accused the Judges of bias towards Louise, Danny and now Ore. Which is it?

Given that Craig gave his lowest score for Ore's quick step if the panel were biased in respect of Ore they have a funny way of showing it.

Remember folks it's all about opinions not facts.

Posters on here are of course free of all bias. Or perhaps not.
