I'm not really qualified to comment on Danny's salsa. I tend to stick to comparing the Ballroom and Latin routines. I did like his AS VW. As far as ATs are concerned I don't think any of the Strictly ones have been much good.

So yeah, if you knock the salsa and AT out as lost causes, it does become more difficult to compare performances in a meaningful way.
Is it right that all the Salsa's and AT's have been choreographed by Oksanas husband? Sorry can't remember his name. Would that include Oti and Dannys?

Yes, leg length is the most important. Then next you would look at shoulder height. If you were tall but had shorter partner who had long legs, normal body size but a shorter neck or smaller head, then you might still find them easy to dance with!
And your judging on this show needs to consider all these factors. If you mark her acting on her age, you need to mark her dancing allowing for the height difference, and add for added difficulty, exceptional footwork, ,and exceptional flexibility. As it is, they credit Danny with his acting training , and being the right age, and don't give him less marks for not being able to do what Claudia can .They essentially have a marking system that now disadvantages the young, unusually shaped, and non actors.

I thought Danny's Salsa was a bit pants to be honest. And I thought his contemporary AT was far from perfect.
Completely agreed, personally - that song was wasted on that AS.

I thought Claudia's rumba was the worst dance of the night. She basically walked about and threw in some gymnastics. I'm surprised she wasn't marked lower than she was.

The judging has been off throughout this series. I thought last night was about right. Claudia's QS was fast and fabulous, we all stood up and clapped

I didn't understand Craig's remark about Ore leading with his arm in the QS

Because he danced an extremely accomplished AT?<obvious>
No he didn't. It was an ok dance but definitely not worth 39. It's pretty clear that all he had to do is appear on the dance floor to get a 10 from Darcy! I really don't know why the judges do this as it always backfires on them particularly last year when their bias towards Kelly was SO apparent yet still didn't make her win!

Rubbish, many of them will have voted and spent money on her, they should feel aggrieved if they feel she has been cheated out of it.

Anybody who thinks this show is any less manipulated than certain other shows out there is deluded.

A more subtle type of manipulation sure, but manipulation none the less.
