I really like Ore's jive near the start of the season, but since then I think he has gone off the boil.

I thought his dances tonight were some of the worst he has done.

The judges have saved him tonight. A better dancer will go as a result.

Hang your heads in shame judges.

I do think the judges were dazzled a bit by Jo who was stunning. Ore basically acted as a base for her to dance around. He could have done a lot more imo.

Well said.

This show has done a great deal to spread fallacies and misunderstanding from the GBP abouit this dance. I am sorry to say you have been mislead. Decorations can take place in the space between legs, But can equally wrap around thepartner's leg, run up your own leg or out away from the partnership. And more.....

I have just posted on another thread that I did like their Argentine Tango but my eyes were on Jo as she did all the work. I still have a problem with Ore's head position as he seems to thrust his neck forwards.

Yes the gancho's (what there were) were distinctly odd...”

Thanks I knew there was a word. I'd have thought the hard part was the timing between each others legs...it felt like cheating to do them solo but I expected there'd be some good ones before the end. But there weren't!

One of the few dances this series where I really thought that I could do just as well as the celeb (having never danced before myself).

Ah ok that might be true then. It just looked a bit ordinary and I must admit seeing Vincent and Flavia in the past probably doesn't help with expectations.

You cannot be serious . Their QS was one of the best I've seen on SCD and deserved 4x10s .

I totally agree. I spent the entire dance watching Joanne. She was brilliant!

No well it wouldn't. Proabably not wise to compare anyone to Flavia and Vincent as an expectation setter.

Interesting, though I doubt every moaner will take your insight onboard.

I wasn't expecting much from Ore tonight but was pleasantly surprized at his characterisation in this AT.

Or even Vincent and Rachel, or Karen Hardy and Ramps, or Danny and Oti...

I like Ore, but was expecting more if I'm honest. At the end I was expecting the judges to be fairly critical about the lack of content from Ore, but I was wrong. But what do I know ?

Yes he did. The aim is to pitch the body forward to form a letter A shape with your partner. Simply sticking the neck forward is a common thing many beginners do.

No Guanches in evidence from him. Latin isn't Joanne's forte either. He lost his balance no passion at all. Really did not like it and I really don't understand the mark it is baffling. I can only think the judges want him to get to the final.

Frankly Danny and Otis AT wasn't any better.

great quickstep and a very steamy AT, mainly thanks to Jo... he was my overall favourite tonight, he does have quite an amazing stage presence given he is not an entertainment performer.

Guanches are the aboriginal people of the Canary Isles; famed for their whistling language. I think its ganchos which means hooks you are fishing for .

Nope definitely not but don't say that too loudly. Knowing SCD next year it will bring in a tribe of them as backing dancers!
