It is the very epitome of bad taste and is both unfair and inflammatory.

I get it that he's not your favourite - and there is no reason why he should be, as your preference is entirely your right - but trying to turn opinion against Ore by making stuff up does you no favours and indeed could make people react against the perceived unfairness of your groundless assertions and that could impact upon support for your own favoured contestant.

Really, this is all just supposed to be a bit of fun and entertainment. Is it REALLY necessary to try to besmirch a man's integrity in order to try to make him look dishonest in the eyes of the viewing public? Do you really imagine that this is likely to turn opinion instead to favour the person YOU want to win.

Why on earth does it matter to you so much that you have to be unpleasant about someone who is only participating in a TV show? ”

Thank you for your reply it is much appreciated. I have I believe never accused Ore of having Private lessons I simply stated that he could have had and no one imo could prove that he has had them or not. This is more about the manipulation of the Score Board by the Judges to help them get the people in the Final they want in the Final. I note that you say that I have been unpleasant about him well I am afraid that is your opinion and believe me there are a lot of things I could say about him but I will not do that.

I don't care who wins but I don't like the Judges manipulating the scores which imo they were doing last night.

I didn't SAY you'd accused him of it. I said that you had "suggested" it and indeed you confirm that in your post - BIB up there.

It is not Ore's responsibility to prove that he has not had private dance lessons - how on earth could he do so? You cannot prove a negative statement like that. By repeatedly suggesting that he might have taken private dance lessons is unfair - particularly when he stated, when asked, that he had not. As I said last night, it is a mark of a civilised and fair society when people are assumed by default to be honest and truthful and until and unless there is incontrovertible evidence to the contrary, it should be taken as read that Ore is truthful when he says that he did not take private dancing lessons.

You claim that you don't care who wins but it certainly doesn't come across that way. I don't care who wins either and I think you'd struggle to find anything in any of my posts which suggests otherwise.

By all means, people are free to have favourites, otherwise there would be no point in a public vote anyway... but does it really have to descend into full-on character assassination of the extreme and unpleasant sort that has been so evident this year and last?

That last para is not about you specifically, by the way - just more of a general impression.

To be fair, if the judges marked fairly every week there probably wouldn't be any character assassinations, well apart from those insisting on spelling Claudia as Cloudier. Pathetic and ignorant in the extreme.

OK, I can see there's no point in trying to have any sort of meaningful exchange with you as you apparently have some difficulties in grasping simple concepts of fairness, truth and honesty.

I think I'm probably not going to read any more of your posts. I doubt I'll be missing anything of value. I'll leave you to it

Toodle pip and I'm sure you'll get what you want in the end.

I can't agree. Even if people do suggest that the judges are not judging fairly (how can that be proved in an entirely subjective assessment anyway?), that is no justification for some of the truly awful and malicious things that are said about pros, celebs, judges and presenters.

It's not realistic to expect that nothing negative should ever be said - but frankly some of the things that are posted on here about some of the participants go way beyond the parameters of social acceptability.... and i doubt very much whether the biggest, gobbiest detractors of all would have the courage or audacity to say such things to their targets, face to face.
