I am sorry but how do we know that Ore has never had Private Dance lessons.
Because he said so?

I think the onus is more on doubters to prove he has had them. In this world of social media, it would have leaked by now. Hard to keep something under wraps.

James Jordan is that you?

Sorry but, how do "we" know that he has? He has been asked this question several times and has said that he's never danced before. Even tonight Claudia told us that he didn't even dance at his own wedding. So (again) I ask how do "we" know that he has?

With the media being as cynical as it is, I'm sure they would LOVE the story which would contradict the word of a BBC employee on who is doing very well on their flagship show but, no-one has come forward to say otherwise. Therefore until they do I think "we" can say Ore has never had private lessons.

Because he said so, and there is no evidence that he has.

How do we know you aren't a ninety year old mad cat lady?

What I don't understand with threads like these is that the dancer who really isn't a "dirty ringah" is getting loadsa flack.

Danny (who I think is phenomenal) is obviously a trained dancer.
Louise was a judge for a dance competition and also has some previous experience.
Claudia (who I also love) has used her gymnastic skills very cleverly - just like Louis did.

Yet the guy who has had no training, and has put in some excellent routines is the one who this forum singles out every single week. With the exception of Louise I thought it was a pretty close semi-final and any of the three could have topped the leader board. So for it to be the one with the least experience is pretty good in my book. Well done Ore, tonight reminded of the old SCD where a gifted amateur takes up ballroom dancing and gives us all a treat.
I agree he has put in some excellent routines but tonight he didn't and did not deserve to be top of the leaderboard that's why he is getting a lot of flack.

..."because he says so...". He's hardly going to admit that he has after his first dance didn't smack of somebody not having danced before.

Well, that's hardly HIS fault is it - so if you think he didn't deserve to be top of the leaderboard that's up to the judges opinions - why should HE get the flak?

So you suspect that he's been secretly trained in some underground bunker and everyone sworn to secrecy?

And you think he's a great dancer, obviously. Well you're not wrong with THAT one.

I think, in life, it's generally a good rule of thumb not not assume that everyone is an out and out liar. It's usually helpful and constructive to work from a baseline which assumes that most people are fundamentally honest and truthful.

Unless someone provides genuine ground for suspicion that they are a liar, it is usually best to assume that they are not.

He smacks of somebody who is far from a novice but not advanced level. At least he stopped the water works early on but when he picks up Joannes glitterball, I'm sure we will see the histrionics.

You are, of course right, but too long in the tooth and all that, which is not his problem but mine

Shame on you for descending to that sort of cheap shot.

Ore's a bit emotional, yeah, we know.

I think it's fine and his emotional literacy informs his dancing.

And I think his patchy progression and occasional oddities are typical of a talented beginner.

Its only because I can't work out if he's genuine or not, but as I've just said to Liza, that's my problem not his. His dances haven't moved me but they've not been my put the kettle on slot; that was reserved for Rinder

I thought Louise was, that Samba was.....well. Mum dancing. But that's MY opinion. I don't expect people to question anyone's integrity over it
I thought Louise looked like the professional tonight in one of her dances, Samba was it?.. Kevin was the one who looked like he was 'Dad'' dancing!.... that yellow shirt did him no favours made him look a couple of stone heavier and he was jumping around half bent over, arms failing in the wind!..... If he had been the celebrity surely the judges would have torn him to shreds!........ A completely diabolical dance on his part I thought!.......

Cheers you

I think he's genuine. Bit self conscious but actually rather sweet. But that's just my opinion.

She was too reserved for a Samba. Poor Kevin was trying to encourage her to go a bit 'large'.

I think it's always been an issue for her.

Given how close I thought it was between Claudia Ore and Danny (and would have been happy for any of them to top the board) who is it that most people in this thread wanted to be top? With the exception of Louise I honestly think there is a good argument for any of them to be first, second or third tonight, so I don't understand why so many people are "gunning" for Ore.

Was she?.... I must admit most of the time my eyes were on the fat looney in the yellow shirt prancing and jumping around half bent over...... I didn't realise he was trying to encourage her to move a bit more!...

It's her issue and teachers and partners do it all the time.

And he's not fat, and he's proved that he's rather a good teacher I think.

Well if he is fat, Pasha must be a right porker! Neither are fat.

Correct, he does well with his celebs.

Well people like different things it would be boring it we all liked the same. I would not have put Ore or Louise in the same league as Danny or Claudia tonight but that's my opinion.

I have been back and looked at the clip again twice, and I can't agree with you there!... She was beaming and moving greatly from the very start of her dance!.... There was no way she needed him prancing around her like that 'encouraging' her!

Probably not but that yellow shirt didn't do him any favours!...... The whole thing centred too much attention on him I feel and not Louise......
