I'm not going to shoot you because imho the quicksteps are getting faster and faster with each passing year.
I always think that they have become more and more like The Charge of The Light Brigade.

I loved Claudia and AJs Quick Step. Perfectly fitted the music, packed full of content and to my untrained eye well executed. It held my attention and made me smile. I would have given it 4 10s (although I didn't like the ending as it didn't seem to fit but that was down to choreography). For me it was equal favourite of the night with Danny's AS. As far as QS's this year I would put it second only to Danny and Oti's.

Too fast? The clue is in the name of the dance

I liked it but thought it was so quick that it seemed manic and imprecise. Darcy was totally right when talking about the lack of emotional connection. Bit hard for Claudia when AJ is a robot, though. Those painful VTs!

Just watched it really annoyed by the biased marking Ore was the worst followed by Louise but unless Claudia and AJ get the public vote we know they will be going home tonight

Is it my imagination but the cheer for Claudia when it was announced that Danny had won, was much louder than usual?

It was that good the girl should never have been in the SF dance off

At this stage dance values need to count for more

I thought one of the times that Danny wrapped Oti around him, looked very messy?

Claudia and AJ definitely had the edge with their quickstep tonight, I don't know why the judges said it was Danny. That quickstep looked awesome.

One of my favourite ever dances that! Brilliant. Gutted they've gone out

My choice too. She danced a full on QS, in full hold 99% of the time, great footwork, really very, very well. It was a complex routine that would not have looked out of place on a competition floor outside of Strictly. Danny is a showman and a very impressive one at that and I love their partnership but they did not dance an American Smooth, it was a contemporary dance with touches of VW. Based on the DO alone, I feel Claudia should have gone through.

Total fix!! Claudia was only in the dance-off due to the broken votes and the judges blatant favouritism and manipulation last night. She danced better than Danny tonight too!

I saw that there is a petition, normally i wouldn't bother signing these but I feel that this one makes some great points.

Yes, me too. Thought it was outstanding but then Danny's dancing left me cold and a tin of paint has more "life" in it. Will really miss Claudia, she has come on in leaps and bounds.

You're completely right. Wrong result based on the DO.

Claudia has been a breath of fresh air and I have enjoyed her partnership with AJ. I hope she takes that new found confidence and takes that into her competitions. A real lively unaffected girl who deserved her shot at winning the gliiterball

It was a fantastic dance, deserved better.

Claudia was robbed. I have always trusted the judges in the past, but this was blatant. My favourite is Louise, but I thought Claudia was clearly better last night, and I voted for her. That quickstep was fantastic and deserved four 10s, and she was better than Danny in the dance off imo. The judges stitched her up, and should be ashamed of themselves. They have sacrificed their integrity for the sake of favouritism.

I agree. I also thought Danny didn't dance as well the second time round so the judges decision made little sense. Interesting too that, to me a contemporary dance doesn't really play well to a second viewing - the interest value in the 'story' has gone, the surprise value of the acrobatics has gone whereas a classic QS is just as enjoyable to watch second time around.

If it was based on the DO alone it should have been Claudia to go through. So much more dance content and executed well and with great performance levels too. Danny was very strong also, but had less content and more gimmicks. I felt his performance level dropped slightly in the DO too.

Overall though, looking back over the series as a whole, I am glad to have him in the final and before any of the couples danced on saturday Claudia was my pick to go out. At least she went out on a huge high.

Same here. Full of content and she flew round that floor faultlessly. The judges were picking on minor things to justify booting her out tonight.
