I agree. I also thought Danny didn't dance as well the second time round so the judges decision made little sense. Interesting too that, to me a contemporary dance doesn't really play well to a second viewing - the interest value in the 'story' has gone, the surprise value of the acrobatics has gone whereas a classic QS is just as enjoyable to watch second time around.

Do should have been Louise and Claudia with Louise to go out. Sorry, nice as Louise is I preferred Claudia.

My choice too. She danced a full on QS, in full hold 99% of the time, great footwork, really very, very well. It was a complex routine that would not have looked out of place on a competition floor outside of Strictly. Danny is a showman and a very impressive one at that and I love their partnership but they did not dance an American Smooth, it was a contemporary dance with touches of VW. Based on the DO alone, I feel Claudia should have gone through.

Loved it all. Full on energy from start to finish, light and breezy sweeping around the floor. she made it look effortless and joyous and I have watched it 3 times (unusual for me) to watch her footwork. I think she has been rather hit and miss, but she has taken on board the critique and worked hard on the performance aspect and went out on a fantastic dance and one where she looked liked she was dancing from the heart and having a wonderful time. |

Loved her both last week and this. She should be in the final.

Never have a I felt a contestant has been so badly undermarked than Claudia. I am baffled by the whole thing.
Agree, I thought Danny's VW looked scrappy and quite rushed the second time round. Maybe it was nerves but It didn't look as polished whereas Clauidia's QS was classy, fantastic to watch. Don't get me wrong I really like Danny and he deserves a place in the final imo but I really feel that Claudia was robbed a well deserved place in the final too. The dance off should have been Louise and Claudia with Claudia going through. But, it is what it is. The result is there in black and white and Claudia is out sadly. |

So disappointed she's out. Complete fix. The good thing for her is that she could easily forge a dance career in the future perhaps when she gives up gymnastics. Good luck to her. She is very talented to become as good as she has in so short a time.
