No matter how well she dances the judges seem determined to keep her from the final

I'm so pissed off with the bias, I hope she gets to the final. She has done everything she can yet the judges are always harsh on her, especially Darcey. Her QS was amazing tonight, yet she found fault but seem to completely ignore faults for the other QS that was danced tonight.

To be fair, they've told her enough times. More emotion, more connection with her partner.
Although, to be honest, I don't think AJ is the strongest in that department either.

Agree it's very clear.

It appears that she not doing the Tour and imo that speaks volumes and why she is not getting the marks she deserves.

Her first dance was almost pure posing and gymnastics. Her second was much better and she got highly praised. She tied with Louise which is incredible when you think she usually beats her.

Emotion and connection are even more subjective than deciding who dances the most technically correctly though . It might be easier to see Louise as connecting as she's a mature woman dancing with a man whereas Claudia might remind them of a dancing munchkin .

I like Louise but I see no more "emotional connection" in her routines than I do Claudia's.

Anyway, if Claudia manages to make the final she doesn't need to worry about the judges anymore. Big "if" though, sadly.

I would like it if she did less gymnastics. Don't want another Louis Smith winner.

They made their prejudices quite clear when they got the right chance. They think the routines are expressively lightweight, and blame her youth. But AJ is the one who largely choreographs the routines, and he's not just very young, but he only turned 'pro' as a formality to be on the programme. I don't disagree that the choreography is not all that mature, but the root is AJ. If she were with Pasha she could be odds-on favourite.

The tour. She's the only one out of the 4 who is not on the tour. I'm sure they want her out.

Going by some of Darcey's comments , what Claudia needs to do is age about 10 years and grow another 8 inches taller.

Agree. Her transitions from one movement into another are still pretty ropey. She still poses rather than moves in a truly fluid way. She 'marks out' the dance rather than allowing it to flow.

Her rumba was absolutely dire but her QS was cute. It suited her.

Latin and slow sinuous movement just doesn't because she cannot do slow and graceful.

I think she may get the sympathy vote tonight because she's the underdog in terms of age and ability. Lord knows they've played enough on her 'she's so young' card all along.

She can't be on the tour, she's got a lot of gymnastic competitions for which she has to prepare the first one in March. She's one of our elite Olympic athletes.

Why would she do the tour. She has a real career and it demands complete focus. Why would she trash that to do some SCD tour?

That's just silly. I bet that was her decision.

She should change her name. Danny, Ore or Louise should do.

The tour may be run by another company, but it's surely naive to think the BBC let them use their name and branding without overseeing very closely what they do with them. Richard Curwen is a BBC employee and always seems to be on the tours overseeing things. I'm not saying people are protected because they're going on the tour, but I don't think it would be true to say the BBC have no interest in it either.

Her rumba wasn't dire at all. It could be worse, she can spend 2 minutes looking down at her feet, like Louise.
