I think Matt and Nicole picked a song that was more suitable for a duet, it's as simple as that. They had to cut BR too much and it completely lost the rock edge.

He may as well have not been there, it was all about Nicole. It wasn't a duet, she totally took over. The camera was on her most of the time, Matt was pushed to the background.
