Joyous news. Now remind me, when do I need to be away from the nearest cliff?

Lol. You carry on believing that. Meanwhile, in the real world, the EU is the only declining trading block in the world.

Its nothing to do with the EU, we are a consumption based economy, the growth is being driven by immigration, more people consuming more. Its not good growth.

In the real World after Mrs May triggers Article 50 and lays her stool out in front of the EU will our GDP grow at the same rate as we move to Leave the EU?

Make your mind up....the main reason given for leaving the EU was the amount of immigration caused by being a member of the EU.

Economy growing, as is acute poverty, while living standards for most are falling, and the incomes of bankers (the people who caused our problems) and executives in both private and public sectors are soaring.

That is the plane enacted by first Darling, then pursued by Osborne and now Hammond. And it's working.

But it isn't something that happens overnight.

If they trigger Article 50 in March 2017 there will be a period of uncertainty, which is bad for business planning. Then businesses will be looking to make decisions based on the deal made between 2017 & 2019.
In effect it'll be a sharp jolt followed by a slow deflating of the economy.

They're golden and jewel encrusted. I thought everyone knew that it's not just the Queen, blessed in the 'outhouse'.

Did anyone read the article or review the information beyond the headline?

This actually proves how dangerous the nasty headlines from the likes of The Mail & The Express are if people believe the spin and not the facts.

From the article:

Fund’s world economic outlook report predicts UK will avoid recession in 2016 but warns of longer-term impact of Brexit vote.

...the economy would eventually suffer from the shock EU referendum result and said expansion next year would be just 1.1% – lower than it expected in the immediate aftermath of the Brexit vote.

Looking further ahead, Obstfeld said the uncertainty about the divorce settlement between Britain and the EU would make businesses more cautious and warned that the fall in sterling – which hit a 31-year low on Tuesday – would hit living standards.

Additionally, if you look at the forecasts 2016 & 2017, we fall from 1st to 5th of the 7 nations. The two who remain below us are Italy & the perpetually recession hit Japan.

In the Premier League Arsenal & Chelsea have 34 points no other team has that many points, the average of the League is 20.5 points.

Which according to your thinking is a piss poor performance and Arsenal & Chelsea should go it alone and leave the Premier League project which in your view is doomed to failure.

Still no answer. Statistically, the EU is the only block in the world where trade is failing and jobs are not being created.
