"Please explain"
The judges aren't comparing across seasons. |

Jay was last year. He won. It was a different dance. He danced in week 3, Louise danced in the SF.
All future contestants aren't competing with him, just like he wasn't competing with Jill, or Mark or Alesha. People need to let him go already. |

Jays jive, unfortunately for him, was too early in the series. Therefore the joodges didnt think they could hand out 10s yet. Ridiculous but there you go.

In what parallel universe is a different dance in a different week of a different year of the competition in any way relevant?

Oh, hang on...Ore got THREE 10s in the same series in the same week...NOT "too early" then??? Don't bother trying to work it out people - there's no consistency between dances in the same week let alone those a year apart! |

Jaysus, so much agreement with this. Jay was not a God of dance, his Jive was great (but no Jill). They aren't the same dance - how can you compare? Oh, DS.

Not forgetting Danny & Oti's exemplary QS - which was apparently "too early in the series" to give 10s - despite being in Week 4.

Why does it matter?
The judges are not computers with automatic memory recall of every mark they have ever given. The scores are just indicative of how they ranked each celeb relative to each other on the night. |

on the second dances the samba was marked lowest - so what is the problem the judges vote on the dancing on the night - not on what they marked other dancers in a different series for a different dance!!!!

Autres temps, autres moeurs.
Les juges parlent des ordures. Quelle surprise! |
