There's nothing wrong with rooting for an english guy, but by saying a true englishman, you are deliberately making the point that Saara is from Finland and somehow not worthy of winning a British show. Nicole did the exact same thing when she said 'England vote for your own' - she would not have said the same thing if Matt was up against two fellow brits.

Let's hope that everyone in Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland vote for her then... Hate the English !

I am absolutely NOT saying she wouldn't be a worthy winner. I have no problem with people from all over the world being able to enter. The show goes out internationally so there should be international contestants. If saara wins she deserves it.

Nicole said it because she wants to help Matt win. Same with me. I want people to vote for him because I have money on him, and I think he deserves to win. I am not saying don't let the foreigner win. If she wins good luck to her and I wish her every success.

Matt will probably pick up 5 AM voters, nothing to do with race, more to do with preferring him to Saara.

It's wrong because this is not a UK vs. Finland competition. It is a face off between two people, one of whom just happens to be Finnish. In a competition like this, nationality should have no bearing on your support of a contestant.

Nicole was wrong to add the racial card to the contest, and she should know it doesn't belong in XF, but another reason why her wanting us to vote for Matt is that Matt might not be good enough to win, but if the whole nation got behind him then he might! Time XF got better judges who critiqued performers for their abilities, and left politics for the politicians!

There's no indication of how the votes are going, for all we know she could have topped the vote at the point of the freeze. You simply cannot go by what the bookmakers are saying - they are just trying to save as much money as they can.

Wow its a massacre in these forums tonight . Whilst I think Matt 'Dull Voice' Terry is going to win tomorrow, it should really be Saara who does, no question about it. Of all the seasons of this I have watched, I have never come across a contestant that I have wanted to barrack for more to win the competition. However yet again, its all about the 'pretty boy' vote, and all those young hormonal girls, which Saara unfortunately cannot compete with. Lets hope with The Voice airing next year, that it will be a competition that is actually about talent over looks. At least its got nothing to do with Syco, which is a good start.

And yes Nicole, that was a dirty tactic you played there, I hope the papers pick up on it.
