Last year on ee Linda said she'd suffered from bulimia. For a lifelong condition, it seems to have been forgotten. What other stories have been brushed under the carpet?

Billy and the pictures of Lucy.

Was Ben ever shown/said to get treatment for the chlamydia that her gave to Abi who passed it on to Lee who gave it to Whitney?

I have 2 lifelong conditions, one of which results in me having to spend a week in hospital every now and again, They're not discussed though, I just get on with it,

money stolen from Billy's drawer now approx five weeks ago - and still not discovered - that is veeeeery weird. One thing is not discovered - another - we don't see Jay being nervous about it

This might have been a fascinating storyline if the missing son had turned out to be like some kind of dream son who charmed Michelle in a way that the surly Ryan never could, but as it turned out, the lad was twice as gormless, ill-mannered and dull as his proxy.
It was a mad storyline, anyway - They might as well have gone all the way and made it into a slightly surreal alternative reality type scenario.

Izzy's pain relief from cannabis.
She did say in court that cannabis being illegal was stupid.
Some rebel she is. Harumph!

The first Ryan wasn't all that bad - he wasn't great, don't get me wrong - but he was much nicer than the re-cast, most recent version.

The stupidest bit was that before they "revealed" the baby swop, Michelle, Paul, Liam and Carla had all commented/mentioned that Ryan was the image of his dead "father".

I think that this story is not so much forgotten as Corrie are pretending it never happened.

Lola / Lexi - I mean, it's not as if they live on the other side of the world - and they are family (Billy - and to a certain extent the other Mitchells incl Ben of course) - never even mentioned ? or is that soap for you ?

Masood's gambling.

Denise's fight with Lucy.

The 'rot in hell' note Whitney put on some flowers at Lucy's funeral.

which reminds me, can anybody remember what they were for? I vaguely remember Billy standing with the cash, with Jay in the office, and putting them in the money box, and then in the drawer, and then right at the end, in the evening, someone taking them, and it turned out to be Jay.

Doesn't Billy do the accounts ?

But with the recents other thefts etc. and coming burglary at Billy, guess he will suspect "them" rather than Jay when he does find out - perhaps they steal the office keys as well and actually attempt to burgle the office in which case Jay will be in the clear - until "they" are caught and deny having stolen that money.

Its been forgotten about IMO. In reality the money Billy put in that tin in that desk is obviously takings for that day. There is no way it would go undiscoved for getting on for 2 months which I believe it is now! Whatever the outcome, if they revisit this storyline its going to be unbelievable however they try to explain it, if indeed it ever is!

The way they put an end to the whole drug dealer storyline and Jay's debts just seemed rushed so its no wonder this missing money has never been found!
Just further poor writing and failure from SOC's tenure.

spot on - adore Jay - but just one visit to the police station and that's it - the drug dealer off his back

they may have suddenly remembered the theft, consequently the coming burglary of Billy's flat - where they also take the office keys - and whether they use them or not is irrelevant - but Billy will suspect his burglar(s) of the theft of the money. Unless there's a more sinister explanation - he hid the money for himself - it appears he has no insurance, and all the children's gifts are gone - so maybe he's tempted, and find they're gone

She struggled with it after her Dad died (I think) and her first and only relapse we know of was as she struggled with what Dean did to her.

It was forgotten it was explained perfectly.

I was really hoping to see this story continue and how it would be treated and coped with but sadly another fizzle out , as a Bulimic myself and suffering for years and still trying to get help, it really interested me but like a lot of stories its as if it never happened .

Faye's baby in Corrie. She was shipped off to Canada with the fathers family and was never mentioned again.

Bulimia and anorexia have to be 2 of the worst stories in soap for being forgotten about once they have been "dealt" with. Characters get over them as if getting over a bad cold, and they are never mentioned again, which is completely different from real life where some people struggle for their whole lives.

Not really forgotten as the whole thing was settled a long time ago.

Any life-threatening injury or illness in Corrie.

Sophie's paralysis.
Sinead's paralysis.
Cathy' being knocked down by Carla.
Steve 'condition'.
Anna's burns.
Ken's stroke.

To an extent, I'll say David crashing the car. Okay, we have Kevin huffing and puffing now and again over the incident, yet the police haven't bothered looking further into the matter. Apparently speeding down a street resulting in a crash, explosion, two people injured and damage isn't serious. Even Gary is thinking more with his dick than the fact his girlfriend is covering up for her brother causing his mother's "life changing" injuries.

For now the residents losing money in Phelan's property scheme doesn't seem like a big deal. Todd is all loved up with Billy without a care in the world, and other characters are doing away. Nobody seemed that bothered.
