I agree that money will be no problem but there is a good possibility Mick will be dead by the time the kid hits his teens what would the kid sooner have money in the bank or a Dad that's alive.
Not necessarily. Apart from his early days of dabbling with drugs (minor by comparison to Richards) he's led a relatively clean life and physically fit. Their touring is relentless and Jagger still commands the stage jumping and running around. His father died at 93 so there is obviously something in the Jagger genes (in Micks case jeans as well!).

No more selfish than a mother who sleeps around and gets pregnant by some unknown

But it must be better to have and know a dad who was old rather than a child not having a clue who the father was. A child could have a dad who died when it was young but the child can look back at memories and pictures of their dad rather than having a completely unknown dad.

Child "where my daddy, why have I not got a daddy?" Mother, "well you have somewhere could be the guy in Ibiza i shacked up with on holiday or it could be the guy who lives down the road"
It's also better to have a child when your not an old man. Banging on about single parents has nothing to do with having kids when you're an oap.

I can imagine the looks and gossip I'd be on the receiving end of If I'd birthed 8 children to five different men

Rich and famous men can get away with so much more than us plebs.

Amusing that the latest arrival is younger than Jagger's great-grandaughter.

Jagger is generous though and shares his seed. He wouldn't burden you with birthing all eight! You might not be famous but by God you'd be extremely rich and never have to worry about that gas bill again!

if you'd had 8 children by 5 men you'd have been on the receiving end of a bit more than gossip

There's a lot more than having money to being a good Dad.

True. Though to be fair (aside from the appalling way he initially treated his daughter with Marsha Hunt) he is generally said by his exes to be a pretty good dad. It's just the husband/partner bit he's not so hot at...

But no, I "wouldn't" if you paid me - saw him once out and about where I used to live and was surprised at how little & skinny he is up close. Still. It's not just the money for these women though I don't think, esp a renowned tightwad like Mick - with some men their reputation as 'lovers' seems to precede them. In this case, by some decades

Good luck to him.
I wonder, though, how many women of child-bearing age would look at him twice if he was a million year-old retired bus-driver.
christ IM a pensioner and wouldnt give him the time of day, or would he me hahahaha

This chap fathered his second child at 96, his first fathered at 94. Funny but nobody bothered or made any fuss about him.

Depends what you mean by fuss. If you Google him you'll see the story got a fair amount of attention from the media, and he's mentioned in quite a lot in other in sites, including wiki.
