Stacey always reporting back to Martin
http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/east...yoaks-warning/
How many times has she done this now? Then there was the Jane/Ian thing. You;d think people would start learning not to confide in her as she can't be trusted. I feel for Bex. Having Martin blow off like this is embarrassing and humiliating for her. |

Good for Stacey - someone has to look out for Bex. And if it gets gormless manbun closer to a pasting from Martin, that's fine by me.

Martin is Bex's dad and Stacey is only looking out for Bex and knows what it's like to be a teenage girl and about relationships.

Stacey is right to tell Martin. Bex is his daughter and she is his wife, if something happened to Bex then Martin could rightly asssume Stacey should have been upfront with him earlier.
It's a thin line and an interesting dynamic actually. When bex was telling Stacey what she was planning on Friday and asked her not to tell Martin and Stacey said she wouldn't, it red flagged for me at that point. Stacey wants to be a 'matey' step mum to Bex but - especially given her real mums absence - she does have a duty to look after Bex and if that means breaking her confidence to let Martin know what's going on, then so be it. But then of course bex may not trust her again in the future ... it's a tough family dynamic. |

I agree, especially as Martin is her father. If he'd found out she was keeping things about his daughter from him it'd cause, at the very least, a massive argument.

Yeah but it's pretty clear that Martin isn't going to deal with the situation in a remotely democratic way, plus if she feels she has to tell Martin she should at least be honest with Bex and warn her.
