5 AM Conspiracy theory and prediction .....
GibsonSG
11-12-2016
......... were they ever that popular, did they ever get that many votes or was it fixed? It was particularly telling that in the homecoming sections Saara had all (yes I know I am exaggerating but if you saw the footage during the week it was a lot) of Finland turn out to see her sing, Matt had a good number, but the audience for 5AM was obscured by the lighting. Any time they panned across you had the illusion of a lot of people but it was difficult to see the actual extent due to the lighting. They also were not too fussed about being booted off. Been offered something post show maybe?

Prediction, they will release a single it will either crash and burn or be a one hit wonder. They will then rip themselves to pieces as they don't seem to get on and that will be the end.

In 1997 Andrew Wakefield discovered an alarming correlation between the uptake vaccine of the MMR vaccine and an increase the occurrence of autism.

See OP. Right thread. I thought this was the thread for paranoid and completely unfounded conjecture.

It's my first conspiracy of the series and there is a reason why it's called a theory.

Would that also be the same time that there was a - now acknowledged spurious -connection made between the additional intake of vitamin C and the prevention of colds?

All the world loves smart arse.

Who cares about evidence though. Let's just point at things and say stuff.

I have a prediction too. That the music scene is plastered with so many wannabee mediocre young boy singers that the first to flop will be Matt. There are however not that many boy bands who can both sing and dance and 5AM will have a good career ahead of them after being signed to Sony/Syco. Saara will also have a good career albeit in Scandinavia as the lack of good artists there will ensure she becomes the No 1 singer in many countries for many years.

They should remember the success that JLS had, who also didn't win

Dance yes but 5am certainly can't sing to any decent standard

Isn't that what happens on this forum? I've been a member since 2007 and mine was by no means the most outlandish theory posted on here.

I mean not just you, definitely. I hate these sorts of random conspiracy theories because they're never rationally coherent or based upon any kind of principle. But it's not directed at you specifically and no yours is no more outlandish than any of the others .

To be fair old egg, I wasn't being serious. While I think the producers do a wonderful job of manipulating the public - as they do on all reality shows - I have never subscribed to the many outlandish theories that have been poste on here.

While not pertinent to this program this gives you some idea of what I'm talking about.

They will do well, it was all deliberately staged last night for them to avoid the winners curse firstly by giving them the first slot and then a terrible first song (seriously Beyonce's hit from nearly 15 years ago?). The final nail in the coffin was to give them a. the worst duet pairing in history....last years winner with no success to her name and b. a song we wont care about in history again, let alone in the same iconic league of Bohemian Rhapsody or Purple Rain.

But that doesn't matter, their grins and expressions when announced third clearly showed that they've been given a deal already. I think they will do well and they are nice likeable lads. Singing ability not the best but it hasn't stopped boybands before and X Factor long ago gave up the illusion of being a singing contest.

As proved whenever they sing separately.
