Criticise the show; not the fans.

I donr think he is the messiah and i dont think the show is perfect but i am enjoying it more now than i have in years which is why i opted for a generous eight.

A massive improvement on DTC. I care for characters again, dialogue is better, storylining is better paced and not being rushed, realistic plots and the community feel is back.

I could do without the bin plot, duff duffs could be stronger and maybe we need an extra 'oomph' at times, but I'm looking forward to Christmas and New Year. Treadwell-Collins hyped it up to the sky and constantly failed so I'm pleased with SOC's silence and just getting it on with it. The lack of spoilers add an anticipation to the show we haven't had for a while.

I gave it an 8. This week's episodes had me genuinely laughing out loud several times. I'm loving the show at the moment.

It's missing a headline storyline that will get people talking about and watching the show. A long running arc, something like Bex going missing on a night out. It would be what Who Killed Lucy? could've been without losing a legacy character.

I would also like the Butchers to become a force on the Square again and maybe a new upper class family in Ronnie's house. The cast feels a bit threadbare at the moment and an influx of new characters would be good as DTC did strengthen the cast during his reign.

Solid 9 for me.

Day-to-day drama and goings on are fantastic, best of any soap currently.

Character development and focus are also great.

What an unintelligent, generalised comment. You bleat like it's the cool thing to do to praise EastEnders at the moment, as if anyone who likes it is a bandwagon jumper, but that's hardly the case is it?

The people who are offering praise aren't offering a generic "it's perfect" comment (which you are doing the opposite of) They're actually offering genuine and VALID feedback, usually a mix of praise with some fair critical comments. Yet there's a handful of you, acting like you're the voice of the majority, who simply express dislike of the show, and throw up the usual bin plot arguement, actively ignoring anything positive the show does.

Why don't you explain your reasons for giving it a '1' on the poll, which would surely mean you think EastEnders has no redeeming features, no interesting characters and no potential for improvement, which is absolutely ridiculous, and shows a clear lack of critical thinking on your part. Notice how none of us supposed fan-boy types have given it a 10?

BIB Like whom? Pat and Frank are dearly departed and the rest of the family are a nightmare. Ricky was one of the most boring characters ever, I can barely remember a story line of his besides the merry-go-round of RIcky/Bianca/Sam which was basically a scream fest. Bianca was just an uncouth annoyance.

I agree with much of your comments on the show but sorry DJ not seeing your logic here at all. I feel they've had their time and are very much best left in the past.

Don't worry. Superstar99 is part of the "Get rid of SOC campaign" you are right they bring up the same old comments and threads and bring u the same old excuses for the show apparently being awful. They are rude towards people who praise the show and say we are just praising him because he is a new EP.

You are making the same mistake as the guy you quoted is criticising. I praise the show and criticise it in equal measure, I am NOT rude. So please don't fall into the trap of generalising.

I wasn't aiming it towards you I am aiming it towards the minority who spend their time hating on the show with the exact same comments with no proper explaination.

The thing is Aaron, you criticise the show and not the people go are enjoying it. There has been an increase of digs lately towards those who are liking the sh and its uncalled for.
