Ore is not 'my winner' - but I don't intend to denigrate him. I find it sad when that happens.

I also find it sad when people denigrate the other contestants, and use that denigration to try to 'elevate' Ore.

There's no need for any of it, IMO.

It is possible to 'support' your favourite without undermining the other contestants. It's also possible to appreciate the good points of those who are not your favourites.

For me, even though Ore is not 'my winner', I will always have a soft spot for the Singing in the Rain homage.

Christ on a bike. It's one thing (as Monkseal pointed out) for grandparents, spouses and dogs - who all live in this country - to make appearances. I think it worthy of mention that Ore's parents made a long 'plane journey to watch him dance, don't you?

I'm not even going to address the "journey" crap. It's been done to death.

Joanne mentioned on ITT that Ore's wife had told her that Ore didn't dance at his own wedding.

Now. I've answered all your questions. Have you changed your mind about Ore? No? Colour me surprised.
It's not tgefirst time "...parents have flown in either..." But I'm guessing it's been more acceptable in the past.......because it wasn't Ore :

Has somebody got an airline to promote or something? What on earth is the relevance of Ore's family flying to see him...don't families congregate to support?

I did use the term "sing" lightly. The Clifton influence is far reaching.

Nah, she uses something much stronger to get from A to B. It's called luck, a Clifton thing. I myself prefer good old fashioned stepping stones; much more credibility and more talent at the end.

I'm glad you're not deluded enough to acknowledge there is an influence. Bravo

Wow and Jo has worked since she was a CHILD at her craft, as has Kevin.

Really lucky putting in all that time and effort.

Indeed ..time and effort is always rewarded when you use different stepping stones..they are called space hoppers. Your sarcasm on the other thread didn't elude me, I just couldn't be arsed.

Shame.

You've got more energy than me normally.

You're tired again.

Just what influence do you think a Clifton has?? Keith and Judy have a little influence in the dance world on their past achievements and as comp promoters and judges but it ends there - they have none with strictly

As for Jo and her singing think she has done her stepping stones has done a lot of singing just not in UK - she has only been back here since 2013 after 15 years away

It just seems to be a mean-spirited fishing attempt now using unsubstantiated smears and innuendo to get a reaction and then pretending to be above it when people bite...it's pretty clear to anyone that there is an agenda at play now from some people, for whatever reason.

Jo has a lovely voice - she proved that on Strictly and although I think she may eventually leave Strictly for the West End, she's earned every bit of success that comes her way.

It is.

And ORE is still my winner. And Jo is a great pro and partner and teacher of him.

Oh COME ON..don't be so mean-spirited. You are far more appealing when you're gushing over a celluloid

I had a quick flick through the DM online this morning - 4 stories on Louise, 1 on Danny, and not a thing written about Ore

in a way that's a good thing, if there were, surely it would be an Ore Bashing Negative story

Don't mind who wins but I'll be really ecstatic if Ore pulls it off.

Its only a tacky glitter ball anyway and reaching the final is the big achievement.
Anyway I'm pretty sure that whoever lifts the ball, the other two couples will be gracious and delighted for the winner.

It would be lovely if some posters could adopt the same attitude.

Hope everyone enjoys tonight. xx
