as the years go on the programme gets worse, the viewing audience gets worse and the singers get worse

Time to wrap it up as past its sell by date

The proof of it is the amount of sales for the U.K. Arena tour

I'd suggest not watching the show if you don't like it.

Honey G was its death nail , having her on last night was a complete disaster.

X Factor decision makers are idiots.

Spot on. It's bordering on a comedy show and it's just something to watch (and laugh at) on a dark winter evening. Would anyone really stay in on a hot summer evening to watch this crap?

Mediocre singers. The crap ones that the judges want to massage thru they spend fortunes on there production etc so they don't look piish

If u think back only decent singer was 2006 Leona Lewis. That's 10 years of gash since then

Yep, it's like if Eurovision went on for months. It's better when it's rubbish.

You tell him, sassy lady. With millions in the bank, his own record label and show formats syndicated across the world he's gonna eventually have to resort to going on internet forums to fill up his time.

I honestly think it is all over for Xfactor. This series is a joke. Having said that, I watch it for the amusement value... there's nothing like drinking wine and shouting at the telly or falling around laughing at the dross!

I think they're going to roll out The Voice early, gauge the reception of it, and replace XF with it if it's remotely favourable.

I still think The Voice will be marketed as the serious singing show for grown ups and XF will be about pop kids, girl/boybands and novelty acts

I personally think that it's the whole singing reality show format as a whole that is tired. The whole format of contestants singing live every week etc seems very out dated now, and what these shows prove is that winning these shows doesn't guarantee success because singing live for 10 weeks and winning doesn't make you a recording star. I think the next singing reality that will be 'BIG' will be one that really mirrors the music industry and the modern era. I almost feel like a music show in the format of next top model would be better and then maybe the final 5 sing live as potential artists for 5 weeks after they've gone through the other training rounds.
