JSi think you'll find Ore will be out first.

How many times has popular Ore been in the DO 😀

The latter are very popular with the judges and producers too. That helps a lot. Perhaps lots of viewers haven't noticed that.

I think this will spur people into voting for him next week. I haven't met a single person who likes Louise, I have met one who likes Ore.

Louise yes. Ore it's hard to know as he's been in the dance off twice and was extraordinarily over-marked and over-praised by the judges this weekend.

If his judges score had reflected his dances (especially in relation with his Argentine Tango) he might well have been in the dance off.

The judges, for their own reason, decided Ore needed to be kept in at all costs.

And even more popular with the judges.

Often happens. I think that Louise is far more popular with the public than shows on here for instance. The older ladies I work with all love her and think that 'she's lovely'.

Now, that's a completely unscientific straw poll of pensioners I'll admit but sometimes it's easy to get trapped by thinking that what's said online is what's happening in the real world. Particularly as the online world is skewed in favour of the young and Strictly is more a show that appeals to older viewers. Plus there really aren't that many posters on here these days.

I love reading these forums and posting but often wonder if roles were reversed ( i.e. LOuise and Ore in dance off) if suddenly people would start complaining that they should have been saved

This doesn't tell us that Ore is popular with voters. He could have been third with the public and stayed out of the dance-off.

If the voting stats are legit., I wonder what AT his voters were watching last night because it certainly wasn't the same one as the rest of us

Normally I'd say that it's just that people here have a different opinion, but the absolute refusal to believe Louise could possibly be popular/have any merit at all is actually pretty bizarre. The year a forum poll predicted before the S9 final that Chelsee was going to beat Harry runs it close, but even that was by a small margin.

While I'd agree we're generally a bit out of touch with the general voters - partic it would seem with Louise's popularity, it is odd that similar sentiment is all over online, not just here. And yet both Ore and Louise avoided the dance off.

Maybe DS is out of touch but the people who are really out of touch are the ones who claim the judges/producers don't have favourites and don't manipulate the scores to save who they like. Sorry, but after tonight it's even more obvious. Everybody in twitter is saying neither Danny or Claudia should've been in the bottom two. Even people who like Ore are saying he danced badly last night and should've been in the bottom two for his tango alone.

Yeah but that can work the other way too. If the audience think that the show/judges.producers/tea ladies all favour one couple then it galvanizes them to vote for their faves (the peoples champion!) even more.

I honestly don't believe that the producers are clever enough to manipulate it to get a desired winner, the judges ceratinly aren't, and even if they were what purpose would it serve? Nah it's not WWE.

Is Strictly manipulated? Yep, but only in the sense of slightly scripting and tweaking 'story-lines' and manipulating things to get the most vote revenue, viewing figures and entertainment possible.

It's all the DS moaners moonlighting on FB and Twitter

Actually it's not on here as other polls had ore ranked last

The vote mess up did it in and was most probably planned to get the judges and producers faces through

See, that's another thing. If I follow a lot of people from DS and also perhaps the more hardcore (!) Strictly fans (I don't but if I did) then perhaps I'm going to see the more invested fans opinions than those of the more casual viewers.

Hahhaahahaha. Trust me, you don't get to produce a big show like Strictly if you're not smart enough to know how to manipulate the end result.

What would they gain? Ore's a BBC star. They want someone to win who's on the BBC.

And the judges are certainly smart enough to know how to vote - they all wear earpieces for a reason. They know the scores as they go along so they know what score they need to give out to get who they want in a certain position.

If you don't want to believe it, fine, but having worked on a similar show myself I can tell you it absolutely happens.

Ah such salt. Such bitterness. So sweet.

I really hope anyone but Danny wins now just to see these people's heads truly explode with the outrage.

Do you enjoy being spiteful? We are angry because it's obvious the bias exists. Ore literally stumbled in his tango - why didn't they mark him down for it?

We want Danny to win because he is quite obviously the best dancer there. The judges, the producers and people like you are having a case of tall poppy syndrome - Danny is good and therefore he must be taken down at all costs. I feel sorry for you.
