I thought it was lovely. I've really enjoyed watching him this series I think Louise has managed to calm him down a lot.

I thought so too. Bless, he was so happy for them!

He was also very sweet in the Clauditorium after he and Louise got through. I think he's lovely.

Thank you, thank you so much, someone has actually realised and has the guts to post what that reaction was, genuine joy at the success of a family member.

Of course the Clifton haters are using as confirmation that all the Cliftons are the spawn of Satan.

I reckon Jo's ready for 'im. She wants this bigstyle.

He is that desperate to win the glitterball he will do anything

I have to say it was a wonderful reaction, Louise with her wonderful personality has done wonders for Kevin's hyperactivity either that or she has sent him to sleep with her vanilla dancing they were the worst last night by miles THAT SAMBA my god the judges need to visit Specsavers. Come on Danny & Oti

I was deeply touched

despite the rivalry, a big bro so clearly happy for his little sis who had just made it to her first final

Loved it. Sport (or competition of any kind) needs those generous moments. I already liked him. This made me like him more. He seemed so relieved for her while he was still in danger, if it can be called that seriously

It was extremely sweet. I loved how happy he was for his sister. Haven't seen anyone knocking his affection for his sibling yet, thankfully!

That's what I loved about it! He was still in danger of going out but he was so happy for them. Very sweet and genuine! I do love their sibling bond.

Can we stop please with the childish Clifton haters - are we 12 years old here - and Clifton "bashing" accusations?

It's not them as individuals that grate with people - though they may have irritating characteristics - it is the perceived bias towards them that people get sick of.

Being annoyed about that is not hating or bashing. We aren't in a playground.

I thought it was lovely. Joanne was obviously overcome too.
No doubt the Clifton bashers will twist it somehow.

I think the Clifton bashers will be out in force voting for Danny next week, so I don't think either of them stand a chance though. I say this as someone with no real favourite in the final.

the reaction was an act in reality he probably hates the fact that he still has to battle his sister& its not obious he's the top Clifton or the golden boy

Well, frankly I was just surprised and disappointed that he didn't leap up and lop Joanne's head clean off with last year's light-sabre, and stand with his foot on her bleeding corpse, declaiming

"THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!!!"

That would have pleased the bashers!

Couldn't agree more .
Kind of like the bro who was on track to win the race but stopped to pick up his heat affected brother and drag him to the finish line . Lost his first place , but sibling love comes first .✊
Anyway , two Cliftons in the final ! (Hev does a happy dance)

You're joking, of course?

It was very sweet.

I don't think Kevin can win - if he didn't react, the anti-Clifton brigade would be saying he's too competitive or whatever nonsense they come up with.

That reminds me of a test match v Australia, when Mark Waugh said to an english player, 'You're not the best batsman in the side' and the reply came back, 'You're not even the best batsman in your family'

What a lovely thread

That reaction from Kevin was my favourite of the night. Jo was a backing dancer in his first series, went out on Halloween during his second, sat out graciously last year, has always been so supportive and finally she's deservedly in the Final with Ore getting to show just what she can do. Like you all I just loved how thrilled Kevin was for her.

Their bond and delight for each other was clear to see in the Clauditorium too and I think they both have genuinely made friends for life in Louise and Ore.

I'd dearly love one of them to win now.

Yes, I also thought it was a wonderful moment. He's lovely. Also liked how pleased Kevin and Joanne were for each other in the Clauditorium.

more cricket wit:
McGrath: “Why are you so fat?”
Brandes: “Because every time I f*** your wife, she gives me a biscuit.”
