Just read Brendan's thoughts, as a pro and current dancer, very very honest, but he's actually really called the judges out for their favouritism for Louise, and over critiquing others, when massive mistakes where made and overlooked!

That on others contestants, they picked on and her they gave tens, asking what when she does get it right does she get a 12? Same with Ore he slipped, a little slip but he clearly did....

Nice to read an honest opinion, and it got me thinking maybe we don't need one new judge maybe four new ones..... clearly the ones in it pick their favourites from the start, and they could fall over and get a ten.

Never the judges, always the producers.

I think there should be four new judges. They need to freshen the whole thing up. To me its go very stale and, true or not, their comments can be construed as being biased. This year seems to be the worst so far.

Brendan seems to agree with a lot of posters on here - myself included.

It wouldn't make a blind bit of difference who the judges were. They would still be accused of bias and 'fixing' the result every time they dished out anything less than a 10 to anyone because the fans of that celeb would be aggrieved. That says more about the bias of the fans than it does of the judges though.

Great to see Brendan calling it. I wonder if he will be back next year? Convinces me I am not imaging the madness of the marking. See James Jordan also.

I do think the judges could do with a refresh. Bruno has been mad this season -10/10/10! Darcy so nconsistent. And I really didn't hear the technical criticisms about frame or gapping or steps we used to hear. I can interpret emotion ec but I need the judges for the technical content.

James and Brendan saying much the same it appears they think the four Judges manipulated the Scoreboard which is what a number of F/m's would agree with imo.

I wondered that too. Not sure he's done himself any favours if he still wants to take over from be Len.
As you say though, great to see him telling it like it is.

I don't trust a word out of JJ's mouth! Brendan I trust more but again his is an opinion like everyone elses.

The public kept Louise and Ore in. The public decide.

...and yet I'd be very hard pushed to pick a better semi-final line-up than the one we got.

I have my share of quibbles about the marking but, taking a broad view, the judges generally do a decent job of helping to get the right people to the final. In that context, all this whining about the judges is a bit hollow.

Jordan was right about Scarlett Moffatts exposure and he's also correct here, IMO.

Yes but when JJ, Ola, Brendan, Kristina, Erin and countless ex-pros have all said the judges have their favourites, surely there's some truth to it?

I can't comment on that I don't watch that show.

JJ has always had bias against the Cliftons. Brendan hasn't in fairness.

I agree with most of what he said there, particularly about Ore. Brendan talks a lot of sense these days and I wouldn't mind him being a judge.

Having said that, I dont remember him complaining about Judges' bias and overmarking when he was the beneficiary of it with Lisa . A bit like James Jordan in that respect.

Shame Brendan has so little to say about Claudia.

I don't mind him having a view on the scoring but I thought his column was a tad ungenerous about the other pros' teaching. I wonder if he doesn't intend to be back next year.

It would be impossible to not have favourite contestants to a degree, they will just like some peoples dancing more than others. Same as us all but I still trust them in the main.

Now what was that about hypocrisy?

No, Brendan's just telling the truth. I made many of his comments last night.

He didn't even mention the problems in the voting system or how that could have affected the result 😡

The judges are puppets, they say what they are told to say. IMHO.
