Do you know what the suicide rates are for LGBTQ teens? The homelessness rates? It's massively important for these young people to see positive, accepted role models in the media. So it is relevant that on one of the biggest shows in the UK, the last two standing are people they can identify with. And I know there's a huge degree of manipulation behind the scenes (as with anything Satan Cowell is within a hundred miles of) but anything that helps young LGBTQ feel they aren't alone is no bad thing in my book.
Fans have said Matt and Freddie were together following some media reports about one act going out and staying with another act every Wednesday during the live shows. The Matt/Sherzy VT from last night only added to those rumours folllowing Matt's reaction to said VT.
Even if he is gay the fact that he hasn't self-identified as such means you can't claim him to be LBGT.
