I love the singers, but they did no justice to that song.

I thought it was loosely based on a very powerful Sia video, Elastic Heart, which (IMO) is a far better example of modern dance:

I thought the cage and costumes were awful, but the dance itself was perfectly fine - if they'd been wearing proper dresses and ballroom shoes it wouldn't have been far off an American Smooth.

I thought it was great, very dramatic. Different than the usual Latin and ballroom. Loved the feathers too.

It was the worst pro dance this series. Didn't they say on ITT it was a new choreographer, if so it should be her first and last attempt.

I liked the Strictly routine; as much as I would love to see some quality ballroom or Latin routines, I think by this time, people would be complaining they were getting boring. Overall, I think this year's pro routines have been excellent.

Agreed. And if that was supposed to be Pasha's front and centre dance for the series, then I am deeply aggrieved.

They did.
It was o.k. but not one of the best routines this year. It didn't build as a routine for me, the story was non-existent. The audience didn't stand at the end, I think either.
Janette got out of the cage without help, so why would she not fly away!
