My contetion is that the judges wanted her out and Ore in the final before Saturdays show even started.

She could have danced two of the greatest dances in SCD history (her QS is up there with the very best SCD Quicksteps as it is) and she'd still have been undermarked and recieved the famous "it was great.... BUT..." comments because that's the way the judges and TPTB decided it would go way before anybody ever stepped foot on the dance floor.

It's the only way you can explain their undermarking for this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6lR8dqKIfo&t=54s

And their bizarre overmarking and overpraising of this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=239Q-jV9Yn8

(Even Bruno basically admitted that Ore did nothing in his AT tonight)

Whatever Claudia did it was never going to be good be good enough and she was always going to be out on her ear in the semi-final.

Yes or no?

I preferred Ore's AT

But Claudia's QS was better than Louise's Samba

No, all she needed was the public vote and she didn't get it. Well not enough of it anyhow.

But if the jdges score had accurately reflected the dancing, I.E Claudia up a couple of places and Ore down a couple of places on the leaderboard, the public vote could have ended up producing a very different dance off (IMO)

Well she was always going home if she was in the dance off and of course the judges were always going to do their utmost to make sure she was there as they considered her the "expendable" celeb. It did have a feel of going through the motions about it.

She could've come 2nd in the public vote and still not made it.

I do think she was royally screwed over by the judges (Craig and Darcey moreso) not just this week but from about the halfway point. I don't think it's necessarily the producers, but the judges had their three favourites from the start.

Not that I'm bitter.

She would've stood a chance if the judges leaderboard actually reflected how they'd done last night (Danny>Claudia>Ore>Louise). I think that probably would have produced a Danny/Ore dance off, or Louise/Ore.

Claudia's rumba was easily the worst dance of the night. You can't get through on the basis of one good dance and one crap one at 2 Dance stage unless your name is Lisa Snowdon.

It's obvious how the judges wanted things to go, had Ore not been overscored and at the top of the leader board - he would've been in the DO.

She'd have stood an excellent chance if the majority of the voting public had voted for her. In fact, if they'd carried on doing it the following week she'd have won the series.

You missed that horrendous Samba then?

being an Ore supporter I beg to differ...

Louise's Samba was the worse dance of the night

No Claudia should'nt have bothered turning up. They were obviously wanting her gone and were going to score her poorly no matter what she did.

Obviously, they decided to pick on Claudia along with the judges.

No I saw Louise's samba. Claudia's rumba was still worse.

I would say the twee Samba and posy AT were worse than Claudia having the strength and flexibility to hit so many positions. After all if you're going to lack something, you could at least have the decency to do a dance with both content and technique.

If her rumba had been half way decent she would have been higher up the leaderboard. As it was it was the worst dance of the night.

That samba was diabolical and in no way was better than Claudia's rumba ... Louise is not a very good Latin dancer. Ore got through with one crap dance (AT) and a mediocre Quickstep aided by some dubious judging decisions.

The REAL reason Claudia was thrown under a bus the moment Judge Rinder was eliminated last week.

How is it picking on her to say she did the worst dance? She did, in my opinion. I've said nothing personal. Is everyone saying that Danny's salsa or Louise's samba or Ore's Argentine Tango was the worst "picking on" them? Or is it just Claudia that warrants the language of a mum stomping across the school playground to teacher?

yes she was screwed over, no she never stood a chance.
David you are asking two questions, and the poll result is therefore a tad confusing!

The issue for me was the over marking of Ore. My scores put Ore and Louise in the bottom 2. After the public vote Louise would have been saved. So it would have been either Claudia with her QS vs Ore AT or Danny with his AS vs Ore AT. Ore would have gone.

Well so far YES is winning - If YES wins, this weekend will go down in infamy on DS as the Semi-Final Screwjob!

Personally, I wasn't impressed with either of Ore's dances. He should have been bottom of the leaderboard not top. I do not dislike him at all but he was the weakest dancer last night, in my opinion.

It's not the first time though but hey I don't see any joy in having a go at a young British gymnast working her pants off in training for SCD and for her gymnastics. It really was not the worse dance but you know that of course.
