I thought Danny was very humble, and more worried about Oti's feelings.

He looked like a rabbit in the headlights to be honest.
Oti just looked completely deflated and using the word shocked doesn't imply they think they have entitlement to a place in the final. |

I think that they were just sad as well.

Let's put you in the dance-off and then put you on the spot and ask for a comment in a language that isn't your native language and then see what the first word out of your mouth is...
Good grief, give them a break, of course they were shocked, anyone would be - it's a sudden realisation that people didn't like their work enough to vote for them, which is obviously going to be shocking and disheartening. But of course people fixate on that one word rather than every other aspect of their reaction, like facial expressions and everything else they said, and their reaction throughout the end where the judges were making their decision and after Claudia was eliminated. It was entirely clear that they had thought about the possibility of leaving, and entirely clear from what we saw on TV and what is in the backstage videos and on both their Twitter feeds that they have nothing but the utmost love and respect for Claudia and AJ and are very grateful to be saved. Clearly they can do no right for some people though... |

That was how i saw it too. There wasn't even a smidgeon of arrogance between the two of them imo. There's nothing wrong with being in shock when you suddenly have to fight for something you really want, when you hoped you'd worked hard enough to earn it.

I still think the voting glitch had a huge decision in the DO.

what was more alarming was that Danny started making mistakes in the DO
not sure if that was due to nerves, apathy or defeatist hope he doesn't crumble in the final |

If people felt that strongly about voting for who they wanted in the Final all they had to do was switch to using the phone voting lines and spent 15p. It's hardly breaking the bank and it was to determine who went thru to the Final. |

Upset, disappointment, nervousness .? Any of these can leave you lost for words .I saw no surprise at all I saw disappointment which Claudia also showed .A very natural reaction

They were shocked, Oti in particular, which they shouldn't be as it smacks of arrogance.

Unless I'm mistaken the voting glitch was the online voting, and only lasted for the 1st several minutes of the allocated 30 minutes.

I suggest you take your own advice, I haven't seen many agreeing with your snide comments.

I don't need to, I haven't made any and I'm not fussed if people agree with me or not. Carry on though, I won't bother responding any further.

It's hardly breaking the bank and it was to determine who went thru to the Final. It would be the same for all the competitors but prob worse for those who were perceived as being safe. The urgency would be for those in trouble and, even though he was top of the leaderboard, Ore still comes under the category of someone who possibly might be in trouble because he was bottom two last week and has been before. |

I did too - I was shocked to see Danny in the DO. I seem to remember on ITT that Zoe said Danny put in more training hours than anyone else. Really hope he wins. I loved their AS.
He should be better on Saturday as they are only learning one new dance and just polishing the others. I would like to see them bringing in two dances earlier in the series though which would mean that everyone would also do every dance. |

I'd say a lot of people were voting and it was too much for the site. Use your phone for the final to place those votes.

I think he suffered most from there being two dances and therefore not having the time to polish of their dances that they are used to. Which kind of disproves the idea that he is a ringer and shows that their results are down to hard work.

Closing my browser and restarting it worked. Refreshing the page didn't. |
