She really is a great singer.

I never understood why she was placed to 'the side' and put in the mix with mediocre singers.

They can all sing but she is a lot better than the other three.

She's always been a very strong singer. Amazing tone!

Think Perrie works better in a band.

I reckoned it was deliberate. She's an especially strong singer as girlbands go, and it lets them be more versatile with the kind of songs they sing and performances they do because she can take it or take over more vocals if need be.

She didn't have the confidence or stage presence until the last couple of years. In their early performances she was quite stiff and awkward and the worst dancer. Personality wise she isn't really the strong diva type who can fight to get ahead like Nicole scherzinger. Out of the four she is probably the one who prefers being in a group the most.

It was easier to get Perrie through in a band. They will split up soon and perrie will have a successful solo career

Done the same with 1D. Using groups to get people to know singers and then go solo

Not a chance, LM aren't like 1D ..if you listen to the latest album (Glory Days) you'll find it is Leigh Anne and Jesy who have progressed the most vocally and add the diversity to LM that makes their music really work.

She's the strongest vocally, she's the best looking and the only one that the media is really interested in. But she 100% belongs in a group. They got it SO right with Little Mix.

As someone mentioned though, she was the worst dancer by a mile for quite some time. If you look at their music videos, Perrie very often gets cut out of the dance scenes completely and they only show the other three. In particular in Wings and Salute. But she's improved A LOT and they're all basically equal now in that regard.

I personally think the strongest at the moment is Leigh-Anne.

She's a media maven, the media love her she's in the papers everyday.. yes for her love life as she's in-demand from footballers and the like, but also because of her singing and popularity.

Perrie has the big voice but the others are more versatile and at times more distinctive..you can always recognise Jesy straight off. They are successful because they can perform a wide range of music and that's because they are a tight group vocally who can harmonise..a bit of a rarity.

Also, Leigh Anne is the best looking and Jesy is the sexiest...imho.

I do think the best all round performer is Jade though. I can't decide on best looking, I think they are all as stunning as each other. Perrie has a very unique look, Jesy just oozes sex appeal, LA has flawless skin and can pull of ANY outfit, make up look/hairstyle and Jade is extremely hot and cute at the same time.

You seem to think im comparing them as groups which I'm not. I'm saying both groups have or are being built as a group to build each singer then they have or will split up so its easier for them to excel as a solo artist.

They were when they auditioned, and even through the live shows during their year, Leigh-Anne and Jesy were carried a lot by Perrie. Jade was the definition of mediocre throughout.

I like them - they've improved massively ever since, but on the show they were average singers at best, hence why I was confused at Perrie being in the mix with them... but it makes sense, I guess, to have someone who can carry you through the performances. It worked.

Perrie no longer needs to carry them; they've all come on leaps and bounds, good for them.

I'm not comparing their styles. I'm suggesting that you have no evidence for your opinion that LM are being developed in some way to allow them to be solo singers at some later date. All the evidence points to their being closer as a group through time both musically and socially. It still only my opinion but it's different from yours. Got it now?
