He won't be forgotten in our house.

Christmas number one and next year he'll record an album that will soar to the top of the charts all over the world.

Stop being bitter about the result, Matt has a big career ahead of him.

He won't be forgotten give him a chance for goodness sake and let him celebrate

Why all the doom and gloom is it from bitter Sara fans?

I see a number one album maybe going down the dance route and possibly a duet with Nicole.

His fanbase is in retirement homes. On a double bill with Susan Boyle.
I cant imagine that he will sell half the amount of albums that she has.

I can imagine this being another 'Jai McDowell' moment for Simon - he's won, but he never wanted him to win, and could be dropped after just one album. But we will have to see.

He is the poster boy and recipe to win this show nowadays.

Steve Brookstein will be turning in his Twitter how mighty the show has fallen since the time he won 12/13 years ago now.

Least he'll have one fan then.

Have you all forgotten Leon Jackson and Steve Brookstein? How can you possibly believe that Matt is a weaker winner than they were?

To be fair, Steve Brookstein was quite a good singer, unfortunately, it's his bad attitude and bitterness afterwards is what he is mostly remembered for.

As for Leon Jackson, I would agree he is by far the weakest winner to win the X Factor.

He's just another bland default winner like Ben Haenow, Leon Jackson etc

No wonder ratings have plummeted- we basically see the same thing play out every year.

To be fair if Sara won she would of been forgotten just as fast let's not work it out either of them are going to set the charts alight, Probably more hope for Matt than Sara.

Hopefully Matt or well actually Simon's team finds something unique for Matt to differentiate him from other similar acts. Have to say winners single was very forgettable thought it never ends. Well anyway good luck for even though hoped that Saara would finally win!

This time next he'll probably be a distant memory if he hasn't up with anything that will alight the charts.
