He's vile. Just glad we won't have to see him again bar one performance on the live shows next year.

Thank God Saara didn't have to sing that boring song!

What an utterly nasty thread. How were his tears fake? How do you know that at all? Also, someone said he was vile! Vile? How on earth can anyone call him that when they know nothing about him? Vile is a word I would reserve for Hitler, Peter Sutcliffe or Ian Brady.

You're right, of course he's not vile. He's a really good singer, but they were Oscar winning fake tears.

Agree! There are some very bitter & twisted people on here. Matt is a lovely person, the very opposite of vile! The ones saying this rubbish need to look in the mirror! Sad lot!

They were not fake! He was overjoyed rightly so. I'm so happy for him. Loved him since I first saw him.

I don't think that is correct.

If they were oscar winning they would be convincing.

Even if they were just Oscar nominated they would, one would hope, be at least vaguely mistakable for real, actual tears.

As it is, I'd suspect he would be more in line for a Razzle than an Oscar.

It was like seeing someone trying to puff powder out of their eyes.

Wonder if the teen girls would have voted for him had they known he's been shacking off with Freddie (allegedly, of course according to some fans and media outlets) - meaning none of the little darlings haven't any chance of being his girlfriend.

I agree totally. Why do people feel the need to say such horrible things. How could you possibly say that Matt is vile unless you knew more about him and as someone has said, vile is a word to be used for the people that above poster has mentioned.

I sometimes wonder what makes people post such things. Is it jealousy, a need for attention or just that they are trying to make others react?

To be fair there's no evidence to suggest that his lovely either.

The only thing that I noticed last night is that he cried an awful lot, it doesn't show him as a nasty person, but it doesn't put him in good stead if he had to use the crying tactic just to get support on a Talent Show.

At least when saara cries it was genuine as she was shocked all the time the public liked jer

I thought it was the worst final ever and didn't find any of them very good but how can you call someone " vile" simply because they weren't your choice in a talent show contest. Over the top and unesseccary comment.

Hmm he did turn on the waterworks a bit to much for me but hey the guy's dreams have just come true . He will need to toughen up a bit . Good luck to them both.

It's quite possibly the way he normally reacts to things, unfortunately it does come across as rather disingenuous on screen.
