At least we now know that next year's JH wild cards will make the lives

Thank you, but it required no real prediction ability. It only required having the guts to speak up and confidently repeat that we didn't "think" but rather "knew" Matt would win and that the producers wanted a male boyband pop winner .

Maybe those who kept saying we were attention seeking or I was guessing will read the whats really going on thread with a new perspective, now that it has all happened exactly as producers planned and exactly as I said it would, no matter how ridiculous it seemed at the time

(having said this, best of luck to the credibly talented Matt. All he did was grab an opportunity and why not ?)

Even without privileged information, I think at that stage virtually everyone predicted the outcome.

Simon didn't exactly seem overjoyed at the outcome.

He wasn't was he, and he can only blame himself! Time Themes were scrapped, and new stuff brought in, along with new judges who know their onions a lot better than current lot.

Anyway, show's over and put to bed along with most of us Night night

The only one that would've had a chance at stopping him was James Wilson, as soon as he was eliminated it was over and Matt had won.

In fact I'm still quite amazed that Matt struggled to win this series to be honest when alot of these acts were either terrible, niche, or no home territory.

I guess we'll never know. I think a Nate, Caitlyn & James/Peyton final would have been very high quality. A big part of Saara's emergence was that she was up against many contestants who just can't sing and were not lives material. I just don't see Saara selling records but I do envisage a decent career on stage.

I think they probably want to the rotate the winning category or genre to some extent which means we probably won't get another bland boy winner next year.

Matts the easier winner for Simon! He can make some quick 💷💷💷 out of him before the fickle teenagers and desperate housewives find another bloke to divert their attention at!!

With Saara it's a little harder as she needs a little more work to build up the fan base and have the money come rolling in!
